The Witherlord laughed. "I am nothing so insignificant as that. I am, perhaps, the consequence of careless narration. The withergeist who became sentient. I was first called "Withy" by one who thought to tame me. Now... I am far more than that."

Withy's a character from all the way back on page 800.

Thaidakar cocked his head and thought about this for a second, "then I must ask the question, how is a withergeist created? how have they avoided my knowledge for so long?"

The Witherlord merely stood silent, watching as the withergeists closed in on Thaidakar.

I have no idea how withergeists are made.

I have an idea on how they are created.

Thaidakar sweated as he tried to fend them off, how could something like him so powerful be stopped by something as such as a withergeist? then it clicked for him. 

Thaidakar realized what they were and how to destroy them.

"anti investiture," he whispered, "Adonalisium's anti investiture."

"Often from the souls of others... corruption and darkness spreading." The Witherlord smiled in a sinister way. "I have been here, always. But waiting."

Thaidakar sent a message telepathically to the person named Everybody saying "I WILL HELP ONCE I AM DONE AGAINST THE RUSTING WITHERLORD."

Nameless popped into the universe, pulled there by Thaidakar's summoning. He stared at the Witherlord, glanced down at his suddenly corporeal form, looked up to see the withergeists swarming towards him. Then he cursed and pulled out Shar. "Storming doloken! Why in tenth rusting name of the Almighty are you pulling me into this? The only guy I know of that could fight this guy was X, and I haven't seen him in a long time." He swung his Sword desperately, forcing back the withergeists closest to him.

Sequence tapped on Nameless' shoulder, then handed him the pair of designer gloves and the green baseball bat.

“Fine,” Ash said, and added his red-tinted scimitar to the mix.

Thaidakar thanked the lot of them as he dueled, suddenly a song played, it was none other than "Come and get your Love." Thaidakar danced/fought to the rhythm, "hey if you gotta fight you gotta fight to the rhythm."

Everyone facepalmed. What was happening?

Nameless glared at Thaidakar. "Yeah, thank Ado that you pulled me into this deathtrap. I don't remember how to kill these things. Are they weak to rain? There was a spear, I know. But it broke." He winced as a withergeist brushed him. "I just know that they're very dangerous. And they corrupt whatever they touch."

Thaidakar smiled grimly as he nodded, "we really need to find that spear, there are ways to recreate such things as you very well know Nameless." Thaidakar tried to stab a withergeist but it bounced off and the tip disappeared. Thaidakar cursed, "stormit!"

Sequence watched all of this unfold from a few yards away, holding one of the clock creatures in their hands.

Thaidakar turned and saw Sequence, "HEY SEQUENCE IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU COULD COME AND HELP!!!"

Sequence blinked, then pulled a grenade out of their pocket. They examined it, then threw it at the fighting without pulling the pin.

Thaidakar facepalmed, "SEQUENCE! COME OVER HERE OR I WILL HAVE TO GROUND YOU TO TLPW!"

Meanwhile Mortals killed the wither in Minecraft

Sequence's eyes widened, and they set the clock creature down, scrambling over to Thaidakar. They stood there, the Withergeists completely ignoring them. "Okay I'm here!"
