Which he then began cloning to create a double monopoly: potatoes and gold.

A soulcaster coughed.

Because vines were filling his lungs.

Not that he cared. They'd been filling his lungs for years.

The carrots, however, were beginning to be a problem.

They made all of his soulcaster friends jealous.

Because of their vibrant, radioactive orange.

And the godlike powers they gave him. But mostly because of the orange.

So they schemed a way to steal the carrots growing in their soulcaster friend’s lungs.

The first thought that came to mind was tuberculosis.

But as that might poison the carrots, it was shot down.

Another Soulcaster proposed hiring a consultant.

But the others disapproved of such an extreme suggestion.

That was, until something drastic happened.

The consultant kicked down the door.

This was strange because The Others All, a goldfish owned by one of the soulcasters (and nicknamed Toa), had several hearts.
