“It’s right. It… just just shouldn’t be. I want it out. I want the Dreamsmith to make it a body. So I can be rid of it.”

Spoiler

In that case, yes. I seek the Dreamsmith. 9/10mmHB#2 would smile at Inkwell’s decision if it had a physical body at this moment. But surely that problem will be remedied soon.

You might try to meet Bacon. He’s probably got some idea of what to do about the situation. Here’s his location… 9/10mmHB#2 impressed Bacon’s physical location in the Thread to Inkwell.

Inkwell nodded, drew Futility, and cut into the fabric of reality, emerging a distance away from Bacon. The rift bled electromagnetic radiation, the mordite not just piercing, but biting into the fabric of reality itself, making Inkwell invisible for a few moments as the rift sizzled shut. He assessed the situation.

what exactly is going on near Bacon? @NameIess@xinoehp512

"Don't ask me," said Bacon. "Generally speaking, I have no idea."

Malevolence sneered, leveling Darkseeker at Bacon’s heart. “I’ll make this easy. Give me the Pages, and I will allow you to continue living.” Drops of liquid darkness began collecting along the axe’s edge, dripping to the ground with a hiss.

Bacon continued to play the flute as a second Bacon swirled into existence from the notes. "That's your opener? Really?" He gave Malevolence a disappointed look. "I would have thought an expert villain such as yourself would know better than that. Do you truly think I care about the destruction of this form?"

she eventuslly came to a dead-end and looked back at Bacon. Her eyes, which were supposed to be a light red, were a dulled dark red. Her clothes were more tattered then last time Bacon saw her, and her hand and knees had dirt and scrapes all over them. "No no. Im sorry Bacon. I." She looked sround for another place to run to

The king opened his eyes. “Back to mock me further?” He asked in a rasping voice. “What more do you want from me?”

“Then indeed, salvation may be found.” Murmured the priest. “I shall now spread the news further, Highest Priest. In the name of Plot, it shall be done.”

“Are you alright?”

Omen’s voice spoke as if from nowhere.

“You have an interesting mind. So divided. Your trial will be… interesting.”

The High Priest of Plot nodded grimly. "It shall be done."

He entered his temple, striding through the lavish corridors, empty of life but in rich in decoration, past mosaics and murals, until he finally reached a bare, spartan room, empty except for a fireplace in the wall and a red cushion.

He knelt on the red cushion, closing his eyes. "Oh, Forger of the Dreams. Come to me, with the answers I seek."

"Hey," said Bacon, coming to a stop. "It's alright, okay? It's going to be alright."

Hmmm… since the end goal for Inkwell and 9/10 is for them to fight and eventually both die as my first characters, I think it’s fine if I start a secondary character to work with.
Bass players never got enough recognition. You needed one to start a band, but who ever pays attention to the stable thrum at the back of a song when there’s the drums beating the rhythm into someone’s soul like gospel, the vocals stealing the stage, or the guitar begging for attention? No one in their right minds. Eden only played bass because her bandmates were more experienced with their own instruments- she was primarily an electric guitar player. But it was good enough to be a part of something greater than herself. Mostly.
Then, one day, everything disappeared. Ripped from her normal college life, her band, her family, appearing… here. The middle of a walled city that looked like something out of Monty Python. “Where the —— am I?” She screamed at someone passing by, who seemed to ignore her for no reason at all. Mostly. Maybe the fry in her voice was a bit… intimidating. She fingered the knife in her pocket, seeing some lunatic dressed up like a freaking medieval knight ride by on a real horse with a hand what looked like a very real bastard sword, a very possibly real corpse of something that looked just short of human draped across the horses rump. First order of business? Find friendly people.

I was imagining this in the same city as Utility, Stone, and Ribbon, probably should have stated it

“Yup, knife out, knife out!”, she said, stumbling back and watching from an empty alley. The winged people had an almost hilarious advantage over the normal soldiers, striking from above with comically long spears, but the soldiers did outnumber them, and several used slings to try and retaliate. The entire population of the square’s normal citizens decided this would be a good time to find business somewhere else. Violently. “This cannot be real. What even is this? Did Draco spike my freaking water bottle again?”, she said to herself. Several small children were almost trampled in the rush to vacate the square. One ran in her direction, then saw her and fell over in shock. “No, it’s okay,” Eden said. “I won’t hurt you.” She put the knife on the stone and smiled gently.
