Pree's glasses fell off as he was shoved back, and instantly his form changed. He grew taller, brown hair sprouting from his head, eyes shifting to a deep, sinister violet. Malevolence sheathed his black dagger, instead drawing a black battleaxe from his back with a wicked grin. "Yours? No, I think it will be mine. After all, I thought you all were planning to extract Narrator cores by force. Don't you want to see how it's done?" Black lines spread from Darkseeker across Malevolence's arm, and he shoved the fog away, regaining his feet. The knife stubbornly refused Ribbon's influence. And if Malevolence had been able to hear that other bit, he might have mentioned the nickname Cricket gave him. Ribbon glared at Malevolence. Her... narration was half as strong. That's right. She glanced at Fog, and then closed her eyes and started to create pure water. It surrounded her, protecting her, feeding her, letting her live.
