“Well, they are immortal in that they cannot die unless killed by a powerful enough thing. For instance, that man, Rebus, I think would easily be able to kill one. I am uncertain if any other people I conversed with would be strong enough. There was one, I think the name was Taedin or similar who may also have the strength.

What offensive capabilities do you have?

In terms of powers, it’s all different.

I have been endowed with powers from other Gods, as each have their domains.

For instance, Graelth is the God of the Elements, and as such as dominion over them, being able to control them at will.

Other powers vary from just physical powers. Tarag is the Goddess of the Mind, and can access immense amounts of information as well as device the senses.

They are all fairly simple raw powers”

Renn never met Taeidin - it was an entirely different person.

"The Plotblade I want you to find is called Plot Significance," Rirrom said softly, "It has not been seen for over thousands of pages, but if found again, its true power could once again be wielded."

Rirrom passively began tying Erdikan back to this plane in case of a teleport out or any shenanigans. It wasn't likely that his friend would try anything, and it was even less likely that anything would work, but it was always good to have countermeasures.

Erdikan blurred momentarily, then refocused, looking rather annoyed. "Plot Significance," he said musingly. "I don't suppose you know where it ended up?"

Slight detour, he sent through the link. The mark was placed. I should return shortly, but if not, I expect that you will do as you always have seen fit. Do not respond.

Atlas watched. She didnt want this to end. But she knew she had no power to stop it. Fighting would come anyways. So she just hoped no one would get killed.

erryin also watched. But in a more sitting back and watching chaos unfold with a grin.

Glass watched sadly, tears welling in her eyes.

She remembered when she and TwinStorm and Haly had first begun as Authors. How happy and excited they'd been to watch their characters interact and go on silly, pointless little adventures. To see them help each other through the rough times. All the celebrations, the victories, the losses they endured together . . .

How long ago that felt now.

She only hoped they could all find peace after this. Every last one of them.

"Yes. I have some leads." Rirrom said, seemingly unaware of any communication going on behind. "I do think that it'll interest you, because I'd let you keep the Plotblade after it is found."

He started filling out a schematic of a person, of a secondary character. Adept at chasing, perhaps, and with enough narration to fill their niche...

"I simply need the reassurance that... A certain antagonist of the past is truly quelled." Rirrom said. He flipped over blackboards, pinching through overlapping text to find the work he did on character creation. He was smart enough, he assumed, to outdo the mistakes of other narrators who made characters.

He paused suddenly. "Do you need any help on your journey?"

Asharak was refusing to help/merge before because he liked freedom and individuality or something like that.

"I assume that you have a specific person in mind, so details would be useful. Also, it would be nice to know the name of who I am working for." He shrugged. "I'm not exactly going to turn down any help you offer."

"My name is Rirrom." He said simply, "and the antagonist is one that haunts the past, not the future."

Rirrom glanced over. "I will create someone who will follow you like an echo across time, ensuring that you follow through with your task. Do you have any objections?"

He hesitated for a second. This would be playing with fire, but he didn't think Rirrom was in league with anyone else. They had planned something similar in the past. "No."

Wait are they actually gonna be time travelling to the past 'cause I was under the impression that had been banned at some point.

No. It's just revisiting places in the past.

"Very well then." Rirrom formed the idea into a concept, from a concept into a person. A teenager made out of flickering ideas of indeterminate motives materialized. A name. "Ribbon. You will be Ribbon."

With that, the person formed into a normal human and then stared at the two of them. She spoke. "Hello? Hi?"

Rirrom turned to address Erdikan. "Is there a place I should send you to first, a place you'd like to be shifted back to?"

"Curious. Very well. I will monitor your progress via proxy." Rirrom lowered the safety measures. "I will not go with you, because He hates narrators and will kill me if He remembers. As much as I would like to pretend I am not afraid, He will remember me, and if He does, I am as good as gone."
