“I might agree - it was my previous weapon.” The city was utopian close up - not merely in sterile elegance (though that was certainly present in the futuristic architecture) or picturesque greenery (though that was present in the park visible a few blocks away and the trees thriving in rows along the street), but also in the authentic cheer visible on nearly every person walking the street. Multitudes of people, smiling and laughing - as though they had not a care in the world. And from the looks of it - close observation revealing that items occasionally materialized from the air, seemingly at the whim of those who proceeded to use them - they very well may not have.

Rebus laid a hand on Atlas’s shoulder, speaking softly. “I know someone who you can rely upon without fail. Someone who cares for you deeply. Someone who understands you, maybe even more than you understand yourself.” Rebus was holding some sort of cloth - red, with a white edge. He unfolded it, and carefully pulled the santa hat over Atlas’s head. “@Keke?”

Atlas watched as a small, well small compared to rebus, poked their head out. They knelt next to atlas. "Oh atlas. I didnt mean for this to happen." They pulled atlas into a hug. "I wish I could stop it but there are rules." they rub her back. "But listen. You cant die. I know you want to. But, there will be joy again. I promise. Eventually. It will hurt but in some ways cark (dark cep) is right. There's a way to get passed it. And to be able to help others with the knowledge and proof that you can make it through the rain is enough reason to live in itself."

atlas looked between her author and Rebus then sunk into her authors arms. "Is hr right? Will you always help me?" 

they nod. "Yes. Im doing all i can to help you. Ask anyone. Hell ask Rebus im fighting for you."

Ryna's eyes snapped open, and she reached for the knife by her side before realizing she was not in any sort of danger. She stretched and the memories of what happened the day before cam rushing back in.a flood. She closed her eyes and opened them back up, trying to focus on the now. “What?” Ryna asked of Eli. “What's happening?”

A last figure exited the door, removing his cowl to reveal a grey face streaked with crisscrossing white lines and two eyes that were an unsettling inverse black with a white pupil. Taeidin sucked in air between his teeth as Erdikan stepped forward. 

“Fool,” he said, his voice laced with derision. “Did you seriously think we would not be monitoring the Thread’s exits?”

Taeidin said nothing, staring impassively. Erdikan snorted. 

“Take them.”

The cloaked figures began creeping forward, drawing out scimitars.

The teleportation took a little longer than it should have normally, but the person clearly wasn’t expecting this. They turned around, far too late to stop the blow from falling. Six of them broke into a sprint, rushing at Erryin. Taeidin fumbled for something at his belt as a few of them crept towards him.

Rirrom appeared somewhat nearby, wearing a visage identical to one of the cloaked figures', and brandishing the same scimitar. He didn't do anything more.

"Uh well its gonna sound insane but I saw a gold line that I knew was leading to her..." she tried explaining. Suddenly ryna notices. (Due to my lack of description last post) they are in a cloudy green warp tunnel type thing that was glowing as their ship sailed on air.
