Those things weren't our choice, but now we have to deal with them. Personally, I do my best to help people, and I'm sorry if your ancestors were enslaved by an evil Narrator, but that doesn't mean that the rest of us are like that."

"I took a page from Feanor's book and split the part of my soul that likes Nogard off into its own individual being, and told it to go find a satisfactory answer to my questions. Once I feel like it's had enough time, I'll go assess its findings and if it's figured out a solution, great! If not..." The beach burst into red flames and turned to ash. "Well, there's always plan B."

Tam jumped.

"And plan B is . . . ?" she asked worriedly.

The tiny sand person giggled when the beach exploded and put its hands on Subversion's hair- which burst into flames.

It didn't hurt her though, nor did it seem to actually be burning her hair. It was kind of just there.

Platypus stared at her and he seemed to grow even darker than he had been. "Yes. I do. I didn't do anything in that fight besides hold them off and like one attack. Didn't feel the need to with Ennullers on the way. But it probably won't be necessary anyway."

Miraculously, the patient was fine. There had been another doctor that had fully done what this doctor had been planning to.
