The beast sent out a charcoal black Strand, but the knife pierce through to the beast. It gave out a loud screech, and it’s bounds turned into stumbles.

they shoot the vines and sprinted at the beast and jumped on it twisting the knife.

Suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere, a train shot past, running over the monster, although it seemed to be in the process of slowing down, the wheel screeching as sparks flew from the grinding metal. The train stopped, settling with a final hiss. Two people looked out from inside.
