Perseus cursed as the Redmaw leapt at him. He hurled the net at the beast, tangling it. The momentum of it carried it past Perseus causing him to be tangled in the net too, and fall to the ground, wrestling with it. "Any other ideas?"

Platypus was more curious why this hadn't affected Cricket and Tam than about the Plotblade. Actually, his curiosities were about equal.

Beosta glanced that way, then felt a bolt of panic shoot through her. If something was wrong with him... no. No, that couldn't... 

She grabbed Shoe's hand and went in that direction.

Gaioh held up his palm until he stopped coughing. "I'll be fine," he rasped, both to Bacon and to Tam. "Prolly just a cold or something."

Rebus tries to laugh, but can’t. His various nano-machines cut through the adhesive, and the tape falls off. “This, though, is rather funny. But I’ll stop. Any idea of something I could do?”
