The note dropped to the ground (if anybody should happen to want to steal it when she’s not looking). “Let’s go.” Shoe nodded and made way for her to walk out the door. He noticed a small piece of paper flutter to the ground when she got up, and so, after she had gone, he bent over and picked it up. It seemed to be from Roth to Beosta. 17 hours ago, The Halcyon Girl said: One more thing-- don't let that mute become your misguided attempt at redemption. Mute. Shoe hated that word. But what was this about redemption? What did Roth mean? What had Beosta done? He stuffed the note in his pocket and followed after her. I actually hate the word 'mute' now. Like legit. Feels like a freaking slur against my 'lil baby; and I mean it kind of is, the way it's been used by Roth and a few others. Keep using it though. It drives character and plot development. I wasn’t gonna stop anyway :3 unless u asked me to ofc Beosta headed to the outside doors of the clinic, Livetha on her shoulders, before she stopped to wait for Shoe. “What does the map say?” Stars, just moving sent stabs of pain through her body. It stretched her skin apart, and she wasn’t sure how long she could walk without fainting. At least she wasn’t bleeding anymore. 1

The hospital was a the bottom left corner, and the X was in the middle. Shoe stopped and showed Beosta the map, running his finger across a street that headed North, then East, then North again, then East again, then South. Or at least it was probably North, East, and South. The map didn't have a compass rose on it. Either way, they would figure the orientation out when they got outside. It didn't seem like a particularly hard map to follow. Shoe stepped outside, looked between the map and their surroundings a few times, then started off away from the hospital, waving for the others to follow. She would have snapped at Livetha to take more, but Livetha had already taken a lot. Any more might cause permanent damage. Stupid stoat. Why did I get stuck with a weakling?

I do the same thing tho so I get it Shoe led them through the city streets. They got some weird looks from the people, but for the most part everyone left them alone. After about fifteen minutes of walking, he stopped outside an alleyway. There wasn't anything special about it that he could tell, but he walked in and began looking around anyway. An ominous circle etched into the ground lay before them, with a strange symbol in the middle. ”Here we are! Sort of. To get to unreal space, I believe we… Hm. There’s supposed to be some sand around here. We sprinkle it on our foreheads and go to sleep. If my memory serves me right, that is. Which, I believe it does.” Sequence looked around. “I don’t see the sand though.” @SpiritOfWrath Sequence took them all to Onyx's realm. The guide showed up and welcomed them. I cannot, she said. I serve as a welcome, and a warning. This is not a place of life, but of death. Do not tread here unless you have no other path forwards. Erif's expression only grew more determined. The guide bowed her head. So be it. Perhaps you will find your answer in the unreal space, that place between. Also, this happened.

Through The Living Glass She/They Posted October 20, 2024 Posted October 20, 2024 Shoe whipped around at the sound. Beosta was gone. Not again! He stuck his head in and found her on the ground. He held out his hand to help her up.
