Darkstalker baked a batch of cookies by roasting the dough, and using a level of fitness and skill only gained through many lifetimes he roasted them to perfection.

Someone else nodded appreciatively, then handed Darkstalker one of his cookies.

A small mammal called Noot appeared and gobbled up Darkstalker's cookies before anyone could eat them.

"I will eat all the cookies!" it cried in its strange Noot language

Everyone screamed in terror and fled.

Mysterious X Glared at Noot.

(This reaction stemmed from the fact that 'I will eat all the cookies' in the Noot language sounds exactly like 'I will eat everyone' in English, Rosharan, and the Old Tongue.)

Spook started building a school.

It was a school that taught people how to insult Nameless.

It was quite successful so far, with about a million students.

And a graduation rate of zero, as the final exam involved actually insulting Nameless.

Nameless was one of those students. Samanth, the admissions officer, had enrolled him.

He failed, unfortunately, as he was unable to attend the final exam.

But given that the final exam required him to be there, everyone else failed as well.

Confusion reigned.

And Spook got tons of insulting letters from angry parents who wanted their money back.

Darkstalker got lots of letters telling him to burn down a school. "Hmm, should I listen to them?" He asked the nearby narrators.

Nameless was firmly against it.

The stranger gently placed a small bundle on the ground in front of them. It appeared to be… an engine, of some sorts. There was a cracked engine block with a completely shattered camshaft, several detached pistons and a broken drivetrain connector. “Fixable?” The stranger asked. “Burns diesel.”

The war quickly claimed Nameless as well.
