Calm before the Storm

Lord Meeker

Recommended Posts

Before the two swords collided with our body's I summoned Tessi as a tall shield that with both of us ducking we were barely able to avoid the blades. The blades passed over our heads, I dismissed Tessi and spun then formed her as a sword and tried to side swipe the man.

Alright, finally a drawn out personal fight.

Soul ducked, using quick lashings to increase his speed. The Shardblade swished over Soul’s head as he slid forward on frictionless knees to swipe the legs off of his opponents.

As he did this Soul stopped compounding Identity, and returned to a seminar all state. Rational thought returned and his recklessness disappeared.

Quickly gaining his senses Tevarah lashed himself up multiple times, with a jump he almost avoided the blade yet he couldn't feel one of his feet from the ankle down he couldnt waste the stormlight, so he took the fight to the air and threw a Tessi dagger at the man he used to call friend.

Rhazien blasted his opponents with a powerful blast of fear, a combination of Soothing and Rioting. Dampening every other emotion and increasing their fear. The rubble around him began to levitation again as he sucked up the rest of his stormlight, infusing the ground. He dismissed his shardplate which was now useless and summoned Atha. He pulled Ragrell from its sheath upon his back. The Aon, Ela began to glow white on his shoulder. This surprised him as he though the tattoo could not access the Dor, Perhaps it was something else. He didn't have time to dwell on it.

With his cape blowing in the wind he charged the men in front of him. He sent a mental plea to the void to lend him the strength of the Thrill to aid him in his battle.

1 minute ago, LopenTheTwoArmedHerdazian said:

Lopen created a giant wall between the combatants, and then turned the ground under their feet into an enormous waffle iron. Batter descended from the sky, the wall disappeared, the waffle iron closed, and Lopen smiled, his throne slowly rising into the air.

Lopen, please stop with the stupid Non-Brandon powers

Septimus let the emotions wash over him. His fear, his shame, his insecurities. They meant nothing. All they did was bolster him. He was who he was because of the mistakes, because of the struggle, because of the Journey. He liquefied the waffle iron and batter, freeing them. He glided on waves of rock towards Rhazien. He grew rock spires up to crash into Rhazien, meanwhile battering him with the Honorblade he had taken. There was only one emotion. Determination. He would not let this man leave.

These are Space Marines, thank you very much

Anyway, reactions:

@Jehoiada, your Shardblade attack sends one gunship into a flaming spiral, where it crashes into the ground off target. The other, though damaged, lands safely.

@LopenTheTwoArmedHerdazian, the gunships are made of so much metal that the Awakening just slides off them.

The Thunderhawk lands, disgorging a force of emerald-armored giants. They charge through the waffle batter, firing volleys at Rhazien and Jehoiada.
