DragonReborn he/him
http://www.tor.com/blogs/2014/03/brandon-sandersons-words-of-radiance-debuts-at-number-one-on-the-new-york-times-bestseller-list I think this was pretty much expected, but its still a great accomplishment. Congrats Brandon and everyone else who helped on the project
TheOneKEA
Brandon just tweeted that Words of Radiance is #1 on the New York Times Bestseller List! I checked the NYT site but it hasn't updated yet, so I'm guessing that Peter or Brandon's agent told him.

Caidhe he/him
Great news! First time for this for Brandon I think (for a non-WoT book). Hopefully it means more will see it and decide to pick up his books.
Rubix he/him
It is the first time he's hit #1 on his own. He hit #1 with all three WoT books, but other than those, his high was #7 for both Way of Kings and Alloy of Law.

Ailessar
So happy for Brandon! Congratulations! May his stay on the NYT list be as wondrous, and as long, as the book he gave us!
Argent he/him
Oh, hmm. Perhaps my sarcastic comment was out of line - I was under the impression that this is nothing new. In this case, woot woot!

PeterAhlstrom he/him
Steelheart hit #1 too, but YA books have their own list. This was by no means a foregone conclusion, but the closest competitor ended up not being very close. It's a real testament to how much people have grown to love the Way of Kings over the past four years. You guys really wanted to read the sequel, and you told all your friends. And by the way it won't go on the Times website until...Saturday? Monday? next Friday? Their calendar is really screwy. It's the best seller list for March 23rd. There is no better fantasy writer than Brandon Sanderson. I am very grateful for the universe he has created. Congrats Brandon! You definitely deserve this recognition! We should have a party for him. Or do something in honor.....
