manukos he/him Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 (edited) ok since the cicle is coming to a close i will finaly place my vote and it will be on megasif for reasons steted above , and as much as i hate being the tiebreaker Edited November 29, 2017 by manookla the ookla
DeTess she/her Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 @manookla the ookla, could you ensure that vote gets colored in? I was about to break the tie in the other direction as lynching my secondary suspicion is preferable over a tie, and I'd rather not keep my vote in place thinking the tie is broken when it isn't. Also, @Ookla the Rae, I believe you wanted a reminder to look into Asterion?

Megasif he/him Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 I'm going to go for Arinian Asterion and put my trusts in my two lawyers Lopen and DA, who are most likely village. Randuir has gone up slightly leaning village now.

And since the Skaa most probably have one person in each House we assume, I think that to maximise cooperation and get the Skaa, who are the primary objectives, perhaps we should consider this as a normal Elim vs Village game, just with a bit more apprehension and lines drawn. As the Skaa are available to information on all 4 of the Houses (we assume), it would be a good step for each House to come forward with their members, and information which is considered important should be said in thread, except for BR's House, as we assume there was only one Skaa in their house (and we know who is in it now anyway). I have been feeling the same. I disagree that we aren't getting anywere. I am pretty sure that Asterion is an eliminator and we have a few other healthy suspicions. However, if we were to run out of options or suspicions, I feel that it would make sense to reveal houses. This would supply groupings of people that should include eliminators. I feel that this is a tool that was meant for finding skaa that we aren't using. I understand this argument carries less weight if I'm wrong about each house having one eliminator; however, I'm sure that even if the skaa aren't in every house, they have the information of who is in each house. If they are in only three, they know by default who is in the fourth. I don't think it would be balanced to put skaa in two houses because that would essentially make it impossible for those two houses to win. Therefore, I think the only mostly uncompromised doc is house four. I’ll put my vote on Asterion for mostly reasons that have been said before. I want to get my vote in now, and if I have time time I’ll go into more detail. ----------------------------------------------------------- Jonas watched the obligator leave. A skaa rebel found in his own house, it was unbelievable. That was why he went directly to his guardhouse the night the first skaa was revealed. This was their responsibility. He would have to have his guards executed and replaced. Working under the Lord Ruler was demanding and he could not risk the guards letting another skaa get through. Jonas had been aware of the skaa infiltrating houses before most nobles. He was tasked with eliminating them starting with a thorough search of his own house. Obviously, Jonas hadn't been thorough enough. What was more embarrassing was he was not the one to discover the man. Fittingly, the poser was executed. Jonas would not be so careless again. He would be the one to kill the next skaa. The obligator disappeared out of the front gate and Jonas visibly relaxed. He allowed his shoulders to slump for only a second. Obligators were intense. It was very fortunate an inquisitor had not been sent, but even so… “The Lord Ruler does not tolerate failure.” the obligator had said. Jonas turned on his heel and strode into the keep. He had work to do and not a lot of time to do it.
livinglegend Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 Okay, Here are my reasons for voting for Asterion. 1 The day one vote mess: This has been gone over in great detail already and I'm not sure what I can reveal here that hasn't been said. The majority of Asterion's vote choices seem to be trying to protect Drake. Being completely open, that was my reason for voting inactives as well. Drake was a member of my house and I didn't want my house to be the first to lose a member, much less an active one. I'm not sure why Asterion was as keen to keep him alive since they are not in my house. Asterion finally gave up and voted for Drake when it seemed he was a lost cause. 2 I'll admit this may second reason may just be Asterion's play style and if it is, I apologize, but Asterion hasn't really posted very much helpful analysis. I'll admit that today Asterion's post on why he was voting for Megasif at least had some content, but the reasons felt half-hearted to me, and most of the reasons he gave (such as "posting just enough to fly under the radar") apply just as much if not more to Asterions posts this game. Again, that just might be your normal style and if it is we can discount this reason. 3 I feel like Asterion's defenses (again until today) have not had any substance. The reasons he gives for not lynching him are more deflections than defenses. 4 For these reasons I feel Asterion is more suspicious than megasif and I would rather lynch someone I have legitimate suspicion for than someone who I don't have really very much read on yet. I also would like to prevent a tie here so I'm counting on Asterion being a skaa and I would invite those voting for Megasif to move your votes over so you can gain house favor.
Rebecca she/her Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 So, it seems like people want a strategy/planning post from me, so I guess I’ll post one, though RP is definitely more up my alley. My strategy posts are kinda just random guesses, but this is what I’ve got. Megasif: So, I see where you guys are coming from, thinking he’s elim. But honestly, he seems more village to me, though I’m not super sure. Roadwalker: Probably who I’m most suspicious of being elim, but I’m only kind of suspicious. He reacted so rashly when voting for Alvron day 1, and Alv ended up being noble. That isn’t really very suspicious though, so again, I’m not sure. Brightness Radient, LivingLegend, and Sami: I’m pretty confident they’re all village too, mostly because a skaa has already been discovered (and killed) in their house. But there is the chance there is another elim in their house, even though they only had six house members. Darkness: Seems village to me too. He doesn’t seem to be faking his confusion or anything, but I could, of course, be wrong. The suspicion on him just doesn’t make sense to me. So, overall...I am not really very suspicious of anyone. At least not suspicious enough for me to feel like I should vote on them. I have no idea who is elim. I guess Road is who I am most suspicious of though, but not very much. 1
Arraenae Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 Assuming the cycle isn't over: Asterion, since the reasons people gave for voting on him seem sound.
Droughtbringer Posted November 30, 2017 Author Posted November 30, 2017 (edited) (Writeup forthcoming, no events besides the lynch will show up in the writeup) Votes: (6)Asterion: Rae, Legend, Megasif, Lopen, BR, Darkness(4)Mesagsif: Manukos, Arin, Aster, Randuir(1)Darkness: Doc Asterion has been lynched! He was a Skaa normal person! Edited November 30, 2017 by Ookla of Five 6
Darkness Ascendant he/him Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 (edited) *slow clap. *looks at Arinian and Randuir. Why wasn't my vote counted @Ookla of Five? Edited November 30, 2017 by Darkness_ 1
manukos he/him Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 Nooo I missed my chance for points !!!! Also , skaa normal person? That is a weird way to phrase it
DeTess she/her Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 Now I almost feel like lynching roadwalker, just to check wether all involved in the D1 tie square-dance where elims (which would be hilarious). There's something else I've noticed though, and that is that only about half of the living players voted yesterday. You'd expect people to get involved when there seems to be a rather polarizing vote going on. Or maybe that's just my way of thinking, and others see it differently.
Megasif he/him Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 That was rather excellent, if I do say so myself. Lopen and DA came through there. If anyone has protection, I'd suggest you make good use of it tonight. I'd want to lynch Arinian next. But elim/elim interactions would make Arinians voting on the same people as Asterion would be rather obvious for the elim team. They would definitely try to distance themselves. But at this point, it wouldn't be unexpected. What are people's thoughts on Doc?

DeTess she/her Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 I did a quick check, and despite the relatively low amount of votes that was made, everyone but @Ookla the Wofl and @Ookla the Inquisitive have been active during the last day. I've sent young Bard (aka ookla the inquisitive) a PM, and will do the same for Sami next day cycle if I'm still alive and she hasn't shown herself yet. If I die, I'd appreciate it if someone else could PM her.

Arinian Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 RP: * * * Faron sat leaning back on the chair, boots on the table. That's was early morning first streams of light seeped through curtains falling on smooth table's surface. His eyes were closed and dreamy smile curved his lips. That was one of this days when all troubles seem so distant, he raised hand and took a good gulp on wine. That was one of those days when all troubles seem so distant, he raised hand and took a good gulp of wine. Wine was nor good nor bad, some people pretended to be experts in wine but truly they never was, sitting here in this city even if it's literaly was center of the world they never travelled enough to taste all sorts of wine. In his youth Faron traveled much he was almost in every part of Final Empire but not on the simple whim, that was more about need. His house was drained, all resources wasted but no one even tried to change things. Father drunkard and mother that was unable withstand even small argue, brothers and sisters that know nothing to do except... nothing, they were useless. And so Faron took all in his hands, he traveled through Empire seeking for support, seeking any opportunities. And he found one, her name was Tialara Elverein, later he simply called her Tila. Woman from Great House of Luthadel that was interested in him... that was turn point in his life, she was. She was not like all other noble women that he has seen, she was rough, dangerous when she needed of course but in higher society all her roughness dissolved. Drastic change in one moment Tila became elegant, wise... and all other clever words that you can say about ideal noble woman. He lived so long with her and still didn't know which of those two women was real her. Maybe mix of them. Faron smiled to his memories taking another deep sip.
