Best villain, deuteragonist, or antihero: Taravangian, Sadeas, Amaram.

Most badass: Szeth, Kaladin, Dalinar.

Most attractive (from my SWM POV): Navani, Jasnah, Shallan.  I like smart women with attitude.

Basically, everyone who didn't have Renarin on their list is wrong. RENARIN KHOLIN. *ascends in a cloud of smoke while whispering "Renarin" over and over again*

Feather...you know, you converted me to the whole Renarin-Shallan thing, you've shown me Renarin's awesomeness, I've even got up-votes out of making fun of you for it. But this...is too bizarre...

Edit: but it made me smile anyways  ;) .

Words of Radiance spoilers

Nightblood, of course. Or Jasnah if swords don't count. Killed, stabbed through the heart, set on fire, and still makes it home in time for voidbringers. Rationalists being epic is always nice.

Top Ten most interesting/coolest/favorite.

1. Wit (I mean he's just awsome and should top everyones list).

2. Shallan (Really shined in WoR and now feels like one of the most developed carracter.).

3. Lopen (Even if you dont know it yet your secretly dieing to see more of hime!).

4. Lift (Can't wait to see more of her).

5. Eshonai (Don't know what to expect from her).

6. Taravangian (I wan't to call him an "Evil Genius" but he could very well save everyone).

7. Szeth (His emotional trouble really feels real to me...can't wait to see his book).

8. Renarin (He is going to be such an interesting/well developed carracter once we start seeing his PoV and will probobly take 2.).

9. Kaladin (Unfortunally, most of WoR felt like an emotional digression for him eventhough I still love hime and he did have his moments. He will move up once he fully gets past his emotional trouble).

10. Jasnah (Can't wait to see what she gets up to).

This should have been a poll.....

Sylphrenia / Kaladin combo is what keeps me coming back for more.

I also love Hoid and Lopen. Everyone else is awesome, but a little predictable for me sometimes.

Way of Kings: Dalinar.

Words of Radiance: Dalinar.

I strongly suspect that Szeth may outshine Dalinar in Stones Unhallowed. It depends on how his inner torment is handled.

I used to think the best character is Kaladin, but after his second bout of depression in two books, I'm going to go with Axies. His upbeat attitude about life is the exact opposite of Kaladin, so perhaps I am picking a favorite out of spite.

Is that Syl and Kaladin in your signature? Awesome design man! Though I always pictured Syl as a translucent Tinker-bell for some reason.

Yes it is. :) I did not create the art, (Found it online) but I did make the signature and such. I love them.

When Sylphrenia "claims" Kaladin from the Stormfather in WOR,

I actually teared up. My favorite part so far for sure.

Question. Did you get permission from the artist for those? If not... you should maybe A.) Take them down for now B.) go ask the artist if they are okay with you using their art, C.) If they are okay with it, make sure you credit them.

My top three are, in no particular order, Lopen (his final scene in WoR is classic), Rock, and Syl.

Kaladin definitely! But Szeth is a close second! And Lift is my third. :) Oh gosh! Now I'm realizing how much I love all of them.

Choosing the best character would be hard, but as for my favorite, it has to be Kaladin.  Such a great character, I would place him in my top five favorite characters of all time, along with fellows like Raistlin Majere and Drizzt Do'Urden.

First of all, he is that stoic type of character that I have always enjoyed.  Also, I like him because no matter how much he has been put down, kicked around, and just generally had life crapping all over him, he has not lost that intense desire to protect the people that he cares for.  He came close a time or two, but he always forced himself on.  And when he finally pulls through his crucial moment in Words of Radiance, it was truly epic.

I would have to say Szeth is a favorite of mine as well.  Such a tragic character, I have always been a sucker for those types as well.  Such pain that man has to go through, and yet such dedication shown to his code, I have to admire that.

Jasnah and Shallan are both great characters as well.  Am still hoping somehow for a Kaladin/Shallan pairing.  :P
