Oh that's right! Way to use the old grey matter! (I'm ashamed...I already used that color this cycle lolol) :P

What if an elim pony gets it and then tells his friends that he had it and one of them receives it by chance...just a thought. The odds are low but at that point they could accurately tell who has it and they would be "confirmed" good.

Also if we are passing it then should we try to pass it among the more active players first? In case an inactive player gets it and doesn't pass it on? Or gets lynched while holding it?

What if an elim gets it and then doesn't pass it on, and then claims to have passed it but then the other person says they didn't get it? How would we know which one was telling the truth? Should we have the honesty pony scan the one who says they passed it? But then if they announced who was lying then the honesty element pony would be revealed. Hmm.

What if an elim is still holding the element and we lynch them...then we give them an element right?

What if an elim gets the element and then his friends do a sacrifice kill on him to get that element? (Pretty unlikely)

What if a village pony passes the element to the pony with kindness and they get lynched? Will the element of generosity be there still?

What if we are getting close to the end of everypony having held it already...wouldn't that narrow it down for the elims as to who will have the element next? Would that put them in danger?

I'm trying to make sure there aren't any loopholes lol. That's all I can think of rn. All in all I think it's the best way to go. It seems like the most productive use of the element.

Maybe once we start narrowing it down than the honesty pony can also start to narrow down who they should scan? That might speed up the process of finding the elims?

I think the fuchsia looks bright with this plan! :P (I've used most of the basic colors so be prepared for some outrageous puns and play on words from now on to complete my CR lolol)

Holy cow I got a little overwhelmed there lol. All good points. It really could be useful for finding those elims.

Elims aside, tomorrow is my BIRTHDAY (and Bracken's too) and EVERYONE IS INVITED. To my library :D

Haha thanks! Orange you glad I didn't think of anything else lol.  (I'm not ashamed)

So because I'm not feeling suspicious of any of the active people right now, are there any inactive people we could lynch? I haven't seen @Quiverat all IIRC. We don't have to do that, just not seeing anyone in particular as being good lynch material.

Maybe if we find a confirmed good unicorn through the generosity passing plan then they can start adding the cleared ponies(the ones who passed the element of generosity) into a pm each cycle so that the village could have a trusted pm group just like the elims do? It would be nice if the element of honesty pony was a unicorn lol. Does this sound like a good plan or does it have problems? Please feel free to speak your mind. (even if this plan is stupid and you think so lolol :P) I'm just trying to think through all the possibilities that could give us an advantage.

@The Flash personally I'd rather try to get a more informed lynch target than just choosing someone out of the blue. (I know your vote isn't completely out of the blue I just needed some color word for my cr lolz ;) lynching inactives does help sometimes) I will have to keep thinking and analyze the thread some more. :D

As an evil character from Harry Potter once said, CONSTANT VIGILANCE!!! CONSTANT VIGILANCE!!!

Hold up, Mad Eye Moody wasn't evil, he was one of the good guys!

As for voting this cycle, I'm getting a slight village read on Jon since he's trying to promote discussion. I have a stronger village read on PK, because trying so hard to get a villager (i.e. Jon) lynched seems like a pretty risky move for an elim. Unless they're both elims, and they're playing us. Which is possible, but we don't have enough evidence to be going down that route at this point. Randuir is also reading village to me, and I like the plan for the element of generosity. I also have a village read on BB, BR, and Flash. Although I'm more hesitant about the latter two, because they're newer. I personally found it easier to be less suspicious as an elim in the last game I played, because I was newer.

Gosh, coming up with someone to lynch is hard... I have to go for now, but I'll come on tomorrow, although I'm not sure how elaborate my post will be. The one thing about the element of generosity plan that I want to mention before I go is that it's a good way for confirming that someone is an eliminator, but it doesn't necessarily confirm with completely certainty that someone is village. For example, an elim could make a lucky guess about who the element was passed on to, as unlikely as that may be. My gut is telling me there's another kink in the plan, but I can't place my finger on it right now...

I like this plan too, but the PM should have at least three people, in case one happens to be an elim (see above on how we can't confirm a village pony with 100% certainty).

@Herowannabe If the Changelings kidnap a pony with an element, is it revealed in the write up? (Sorry if this has been answered, I've been looking through the threads but can't find it.)

Read this cycles write up. we lost loyalty.

Yes, but we lost Loyalty to the lynch. I'm wondering if it'll still be mentioned if it's a kidnap.

Yes, any time a player is eliminated their alignment and role will be revealed.

This is indeed a risk, though a pretty low one. As frozen Mint pointed out, not everyone cleared this way should be considered confirmed good, just more likely to be a villager.

Quote

Yeah, we shouldn't pass it on to people that aren't as active for now.

There is always the risk of an elim claiming to have passed it on someone, and that person denying it. Worst case scenario: we'll lynch 1 village and 1 elim pony. I don't think it'll come to that though, because as was pointed out, the elim has to pass it on, so a false claim is contradicted by two people, not just one.

Quote

What if an elim is still holding the element and we lynch them...then we give them an element right?

Hmmm, good point. though at that point there are two persons who know they have the element, and I'm pretty certain an elim would use the 'I have an element' card to avoid getting lynched, even if the one who gave it doesn't speak up. This would mean we probably avoid that.

Quote

What if an elim gets the element and then his friends do a sacrifice kill on him to get that element? (Pretty unlikely)

@Herowannabe, can the elims kidnap another elim?

Even if they can, I don't thin this'll be a good trade for them in most cases, unless generosity is the last remaining element.

Quote

What if a village pony passes the element to the pony with kindness and they get lynched? Will the element of generosity be there still?

Hero, could you answer that question?

Quote

What if we are getting close to the end of everypony having held it already...wouldn't that narrow it down for the elims as to who will have the element next? Would that put them in danger?

At that point, you could decide to pass it back to someone that had already had it. we wouldn't get info, but we would confound any elim attempts to get it.

Anyway, we should vote on someone this cycle, as otherwise the element of generosity leaves play this cycle, and my plan will come to nothing. I beleive the current satet of voting as as follows:
Vote tally

Jondesu(0): Paranoid King

So only Jondesu has a vote on him (if I'm not mistaken), and he's an earth pony. If nothing else, I'm not against lynching an inactive, I'd just rather not do that because:

  1. No one has been inacitve for more than a cycle yet (I think).
  2. lynching inactives does not get us that much info.
@Hemalurgic_Headshot, @Crimsn-Wolf, @DroughtBringer, @Quiver, @Jedal, @Ecthelion III, is there anything you guys would like to add?

@randuir no problem! Thanks for answering my questions :P

I have to sleep for now, but I will be back tomorrow.

We do need other's to start voting. This has been an interesting cycle with only one vote so far, and it doesn't even count. I want to wait until I can think through the game so far a little bit more. I will have to do that tomorrow. I don't want to have black circles under my eyes tomorrow. ;)

Ok but when he said it it was Barty crouch using polyjuice potion.

Ok and quick question on CR- is it supposed to be every post? Because I've been doing every RP, not every post...

Bracken was beginning to realize that half of the meaning of life was making mistakes. And learning from them.

Frozen Mint, your question about the kidnap sounds like an Elim trying to figure out if they can slip something past the villagers. I've got mostly village reads on the others who have posted this cycle so far (though I'm mixed on The Flash).

Edit: @Frozen Mint, tagging you so you know you've been voted on.

But wouldn't an elim be able to ask that question in the PM or elim doc?

Actually, @Herowannabe, the rules don't explicitly mention the existence of an elim doc. Is my assumption that they have one anyway correct? Is there a rule forbidding asking questions in another location than the thread?

Apologies for my recent inactivity, I spent the whole day yesterday spending time with my family, and I didn't have much time to post anything.

I'm not sure about the accusations going around so far. Jon was accused by PK, and Jon accused Mint. I'm not sure about Jon, but I don't think I want to lynch him until I get a better read on him. (because right now, I hardly have a read on anyone). It concerns me that Mint is a unicorn, and if he is Village, then it will be two Village Unicorns dead.

With so few votes, every vote counts, but I'm not sure who to vote on. I'll be back with that.

I think all the Unicorns to make sure that they make PMs. Communication is key, especially with Element Holders.

I don't think it's that, as I've had high post-counts in games without appearing suspicious (I once accounted for 10% of the posts (while I was still alive) in a 24 man game). I'll give your posts a look over in a bit to see if I can spot something, but it might just be that Jondesu is naturally suspicious of new players after someone(I'm talking about Frozen Mint, of course) managed to fool just about everyone until the end of the game in his first game.

I don't expect Jondesu to vote on you without explaining what has made you look suspicious, though, so I wouldn't worry about it too much until he actually makes an accusation (unless you are an elim, then you should definitely start worrying :P).

I'm not stressed! I'm not an elim. I'm fact, I'm feeling great. It's my birthday, not much homework today, and LG34 started today. It's a good day. :D

Edit. The only thing I did that I can understand as being interpreted as elim was not voting last cycle. I just am not used to killing people as of yet. Idk, why can't everyone be friends? Now if someone is being suspicious I will have no scruples about voting. I don't want the generosity person to die after all.

Emphasis my own. Why did he feel the need to repeat it again, more forcibly? "I'm not stressed!" He felt the need to place an exclamation point. "In fact, I'm feeling great." He is trying to change the topic.

This could be completely harmless, yes, but it gives me a bad gut reading on him now that I've analyzed it like this.

As I wrote that, I realized that that could be interpreted both ways. But in reality, I am having a good day. I've been having a good day since yesterday. I was sort of hoping you would give me the benefit of the doubt. Maybe I should have put it in blue.

I am having a good day. I'm playing SE, people are actually remembering my birthday, I'm seeing my girlfriend tonight, and I don't have much homework. The world looks beautiful. I am genuinely not stressed. Which is unusual for me, school is usually stressful.

I totally understand your suspicion based on that post. But I'm not lying about not being stressed.

Definitely remember why I don't play many of these games though, because wow. I just can not keep up with you guys and trains of thoughts.)
