OK. With Lopen's info, I'll make a slight adjustment on @Elbereth's plan. @TheMightyLopen passes one of his two items to me, and @Mckeedee123 passes to DC, because I never received an item.

I feel like I might poke vote @Conquestor. You've twice now narrowly avoided suspicion. I'll get a more detailed analysis up in a few minutes.

Ripple, will you notice that vote going past when you count it up?

Yes. Seeing red text there was a bit shocking at first, to be honest.

Oh, I'm gonna use it. :P Not sure on who just yet, but I do plan on using it. It's not often you get the power to kill after all! I'm not certain about any of my suspects being eliminators(still haven't had the chance to go over the thread completely like I wanted - like I said earlier, I'm not feeling too great atm), but I'm going for it anyways. I'll make sure to look over every single player before I decide though, so it's not like I'm just gonna be using an RNG or anything. Right now, my suspects are Mailliw, Mckeedee, Bard, DC, and SilverDragon. I kinda think I want to lynch SD though. His lurking-ish behavior plus his posts ignoring the lynch have got me suspicious.

So long as you realize the knife can only be used once. I still think it's a bit premature to use it now, but your choice. Also, this means Bard can't get back into the circle anymore since we don't have a surplus anywhere. Sorry, Bard. :(

If you use it on someone in the circle, that's fine, but can you rearrange things so that we still have a circle next cycle? Keep in mind that there are no protection roles, so it's not like anyone can stop you even if they know your target.

Con - awesome! Go ahead and just pass to Joe, please. :)

Right, I need to leave and won't be back before half an hour before turnover (as far as I'm aware). If I'm lucky. Hopefully the cycle goes well! :)

Guys, this is pathetic. We've only casted four votes! This gives the traitors way too much power, especially if one of them has an inebriant. I'm also concerned about the item cycling plan. It doesn't clear anyone, since their teammates can just make the kill. In addition, no one has objected to the plan, which leads me to suspect that one of the traitors is in the circle. That's very dangerous.

We need information at this point. I'll put a vote on Silver Dragon. We need the information from the lynch. Mailliw I still suspect you, but I have zero proof.

I'll also go for Silver Dragon. .

I'm also currently suspicious of Conq, with his late item claim, Lopen, with both his forgotten item shift, and possible forgotten eliminator kill? And now he doesn't want to trade with others to use his knife? Worrisome.

I'm also a little suspicious of Elbereth. Thanks mostly to her, the item trading is dominating the conversation, rather than the lynching and suspicions. Elbereth, I want to hear your suspicions.

Okay, reading over the thread, I think I'll kill either Mailliw or cloudjumper. Mailliw is just a gut read. I know he's explained his quietness, but I still kinda feel like he could be talking a bit more than he has been. Plus he claims to not have an item. Cloudjumper is being his usual very quiet self(and he's previously been an eliminator the last two times he was this quiet), and he's claimed no item.

The reason I mention that both Mailliw and cloudjumper claimed no item is that I suspect a couple of the eliminators lied about having no items.

Okay, I'm here but distracted by real life, so I'm going to try to get this off as fast as possible before turnover but no promises.

I'm here, and I do have thoughts on players but not the time to write them out right now. I'll post that later tonight, I promise.

Those both sound fine to me, although I still really think it's a waste of a one-shot kill item if you're only mildly suspicious of anyone. I didn't give thoughts on the kills before mostly because you didn't sound like you were asking for comments. You were just like "these are my possible kills". And I don't think I had particularly strong feelings about any of them at the time (although now I would advise against killing Bard or Mek, because I have some tentative trust for both).

(My online times are not indicative of when I'm actually online, by the way. Just because the page is open doesn't mean I'm in the same room. Or the same building, most of the time. :P)

I'm okay with a lynch on SD, because they've been inactive. However, I'm fairly sure they're not an eliminator, just because no other lynch candidates have really been suggested at all, which tells me the eliminators are perfectly happy with that.

Okay, I'm going to go check the item progression one last time. Was SD giving items to anyone, did we ever figure that out?

There was no kill yesterday. I'm not sure what we can glean from that, but it's something to think about.

I'm going to chalk it up to some mistake made by the Eliminators. They might be trying to show that they can derail the item-passing scheme pretty easily, but I suppose that's a dumb reason to waste a kill opportunity.

I think it's worth implementing simply because it gets us organized and provides a topic for discussion. There's practically no way we're going to catch anyone with it, but it's something, I suppose.

I already defended myself against Bard's vote last cycle, so I figured there wasn't any reason to repeat myself. I'm clumsy, but I don't think I've actually been particularly suspicious.

For the record, I've put Joe, Elbereth, Bard, and you on my "not particularly suspicious" list. Silver Dragon hasn't even really defended himself, which is odd, so I suppose that's as good a place to bandwagon as any. The only other person that I would really suspect is DeathClutch, and possibly Maill and Winter (who have been mentioned before, I realize, but they're the only two players that I sort of know and I have the impression that they usually talk more than this. Their suspiciousness is extremely low to me, for the record.)

Soooo..... you're saying that because I claimed no item I am more likely to be an eliminator. You could also use this argument against six other people. You're also saying that because I, as being my "usual very quiet self", have a higher chance of being an eliminator because the last two games I have been an eliminator and have also been quiet. You probably think that because I have played more games as an eliminator than I have an innocent. Keep in mind that the game that I have been innocent I was just as quiet as I was when I played as an eliminator. Besides, didn't I already say that I was completely innocent?

Quote

I'm afraid not. This time I am completely innocent. By the way, I have no items.

See?

o.O I should not be on but I couldn't resist checking and... um... okay?

Hm. Ripple, will there be a distinction between shade and eliminator kills?

Will be on to actually talk in an hour or so, likely.

EDIT: Wait. SD was lynched. Never mind. I forgot that that happened.

So, I received some dust from Conq's corpse. Who should I pass that to, I'm not sure where the player list is?

Lopen, I really am sorry about that, the new job takes up much more mental time than I thought it would. I'll try to be on more.

Who got the item that I passed to DeathClutch?

Here's how I'm leaning for each player right now:

1. Elodin - ??? Not much of a read on him at the moment. Slight village lean I guess.
2. Joe - Village read still.
3. Mailliw - Yeah, not really sure about him, but I'm not all that suspicious. Neutral.
4. Winter - No clue right now. She hasn't been posting very much. I initially read her as village based on her reaction to Elbereth's plan, but that's all I've got. Neutral
5. Lopen - Killed a Mutineer! Yay!
6. Elbereth - Leaning village based off her suggesting the item passing plan, which can hurt the eliminators using any items or staying anonymous while making their kills. I don't think an eliminator would have suggested that plan. Of course, I would like to hear if she's got suspicions and such, but I'm sure she'll say something soon about that.
7. Sart - One of my top suspects...for villager! :P His involvement with the Aman lynch looked village to me.
8. Mckeedee - Hmmmm. Tough call here. He's been active and talking a lot, but I just have a bad feeling about him. I'm leaning Mutineer for him right now. Will go over his posts in more detail and try to explain why(or change my mind :P ).
9. Bard - Actually have a slight village read at the moment from going over most of his posts earlier.
10. Zas - Not sure about him. I want to think he's a villager, because he broke the tie and killed Aman over Conq(who we now know was innocent), but I'm just confused why he'd kill Aman when he'd never been on. Plus...was it ever clarified what happened in the case of a tie? Because it's generally a coin flip for QF's, and if I remember correctly, Zas assumed it was gonna be a no lynch when he broke the tie. So, he helped lynch Aman, but I have paranoia about him. >>
11. Bugsy - Initially read him as villager based on his comments about El's plan. Would like to hear more from him in terms of suspicions though. (Although I really need to go through the thread a lot more closely, because I just skimmed it earlier and may have missed his posts about suspicions if there are some.)

Okay, I can't erase that quote. I got ninja'd by Elodin responding, but now I can't figure out how to delete the quote. . .

Edit: Oh, I've still got my other item, so I can join the passing circle again if needed(and I'm fine with doing so). Is everyone gonna explain their actions? The eliminators made a kill, so we need people to speak up!

Okay, item tracking time. (Results are at the bottom if you don't care about the process. I just think it'll be useful later, and I'm doing it to figure everything out anyway, so it's not difficult to make it nice and post it.)

C1:

Elodin -

claims no item
Joe - claims no item
Phatt - who knows? Did anyone get anything from him?
Maill - claims no item
Constarted with an item, did not pass it
Cloud - claims no item
Winter - had an itempassed to Joe
Lopenhad an item and passed it to Winter
Elhad an item and passed it to Lopen
Sart - claims no item (note that he didn't actually say so until C3, interestingly)
Mek - as we learn later, has an item
Bardhad an item and forgot to pass it
Zas - claims no item
DCLikely an item, because I also received one from him. (May have received it from Aman/Phatt, though.)
Bugsy - had an itempassed it to DC
SD - as we learn later, has an item
Aman - Did anyone get any items from him? If not, either he had none or they went to an eliminator teammate.

Bold is those who had an item at the start of the cycle. Italics is those who had an item at the end. People who passed: El, Winter, Lopen, Bugsy.

C2:

Elodin - claims no items

Joegot item from Winterpassed to Con
Maill - claims no items (still)
Con passed to Joe
Cloud - claims no item, still
Winter - has item from Lopenforgot to pass
Lopen - passing to Winter again (but forgot) - ends with two items because of Mek's knife
El - claims no item (given to Lopen)
Sart - claims no item
Mek passed knife to Sart (actually to Lopen on my advice)
Bardpassed to Mek
Zas - claims no item, still
DC - item from Bugsy, presumably did not pass to anyone given he asked who to pass to exactly at turnover (ends w/2 items)
Bugsy - claims no item (given to DC)
SD - had item, did not pass

Bold is those who had an item at start and italics at end, as before. People who passed: Bard, Mek, Con.

C3:

Elodin - claims no item

Joe item from Conpassing item to Con
Maill - still claims no item
Con - item from Joe, died so didn't pass
Cloud - died so didn't get any items
Winter - should have passed to Joe but Joe didn't get anything
Lopen - two items (forgot to pass to Winter), uses knife
El - claims no item
Sart - claims no item
Mek - item from Bard, passed to DC
Bard - claims no item
Zas - claims no items, still
DC - died so didn't pass/get any items, had two items
Bugsy - claims no items, still
SD has item (did not want to pass), died so couldn't pass/receive

Again, same deal with bold (didn't bother with italics, sorry). Note that links won't work once thread is merged. People who passed/used items: Lopen, Joe, Mek. Note that Mek and Joe can't be confirmed (although DC would have had to have two items before Mek passed for that to be the case) since the persons they passed to died.

C4:
Elodin (1)- received item from DC's corpse
Joe (1)- attempted to pass to Con but failed, did not receive item from Winter
Maill (1)- received item from Con's corpse
Winter (1)- apparently didn't pass to Joe
Lopen (1)- had two items, knife disappeared
El (1)- received item from DC's corpse
Sart (0)- still has no items, I think?
Mek (1)- wait... Mek, you should still have your dagger. Check with Ripple.
Bard (0)- still has no items?
Zas (0)- still has no items?
Bugsy (0)-still has no items?

Huh. I guess DC had two items? And I'm thinking SD had a dagger, which was used because SD knew he was getting lynched. Yes? So there are seven items left in the game, and eleven players. That's actually fairly reasonable. Tentative plan for this cycle: Mek, pass to me. Elodin, pass to Mek. Everyone else pass to the person above you in that list. Sound good?

Okay. Suspicions will be coming in a later post, since this took way too long and I want to finish going through C2. I'm probably going to have to spoiler it...

EDIT: Yup.

Lopen has the dagger. Or did. I didn't actually get a PM from Ripple at the start of this cycle, but I assumed the item I got from Bard was randomly redistributed. I followed up a few hours after the cycle began, but haven't gotten an answer yet. I passed Bard's item, though.

Posted

No, that's not what I meant. Not the dagger. You shouldn't have been able to pass whatever item you had to DC. He was already dead before you tried. The item that Con attempted to pass you should have been redistributed, though. To Maill, apparently.
