How old are you? I'm 15.

22. I can snark at 15 year olds. And Kaymyth can snark at me. That is the way the world works.

Definitely.

I think that's what they call "inappropriate humour". :P

I also laughed the whole way through but there were definitely a few moments I felt uncomfortable so there's that too. It's hardly black and white.

Or black and red.

My father will NOT hear about this. Nor will my mother.

I'll just keep this my little secret. My hilarious little secret.

you're an adult, do what makes you happy. They shouldn't be a factor in this regardless if they find out or not.

I want to see it, because everyone says it's so good.

But it's rated R. So I don't want to.

My advice is wait a couple years and see it when you're older. I don't know what exactly R means in America, but it was definitely definitely in the Aussie MA15+. It's not like one scene you can close your eyes it's the whole way through. It's excellent, but if you're not sure id say wait a while.

It's Deadpool. Read some of the comics, and if you don't like that, you won't like the movie (the movie actually goes a little bit further than the comics, actually imo).

Why is it that I have the sudden increases in creativity and become inspired when I really, really should be doing something else?

I have to get up for classes in an hour and I'm still figuring out wires and cables so obviously I got ideas for the story I'm developing <_<

I may be one of the best swordmen here and I'm surely one of the top mages, thought Haesar, sipping his drink and looking at the party, but still getting lost in the rave and dancing elude me. First world problems, eh?
His armor and sword dismissed, the only remaining sign of active Transformation was the blue colour of his hairs. He was sitting at the bar with a glass in his hand, trying to relax and get in the mood.
One of Alchemist's friends smiled at him and made a inviting gesture. He sent her an apologetic smile and raised the glass in a greeting.
He breathed a little flame at the glass and downed the drink without making the effort of extinguishing the flames.
Face it, you're not gonna pick up anybody by swordfighting. Maybe I should take dancing lessons?
"Dude, your beard is on fire!"
"I know. It's on purpose."

(I don't really know how are thought and talking done in English books but I hope I got it right)

@Oversleep, Yeah, thought is italics and talking is in quotation marks. Good job. :)

@Delightful, R means no one younger than 17 is admitted without an adult. And it's not that I'm too young. It's that it's against my religion's standards. Though, honestly, I don't mind that much. If it's given a rating like that, theres stuff in it that I just don't want to see.

It was definitely a hard R. Everything movies are rated R for--sex, violence, language--was there in spades. If you don't mind those things, then you'd probably enjoy this one. If you'd rather avoid them, stick to your limits and stay away from this one.

Good news. I've managed to get my school library to buy Sanderson books! (even though it's only Stormlight and the Mistborn Trilogy for now)

So, I may have (indirectly) converted more people at my school to Sanderson! It's only a matter of time now before he becomes world leader (because that's how it works, right?)

I am also torn about the Deadpool movie... It's a Marvel movie, so I want to see it, but at the same time the R rating and the promise of extreme gore, language, and sex makes me want to avoid it like the plague. I think I'm going to wait for the DVD release and see if VidAngel adds it to their catalog of movies that you can pay to custom censor.

(DISCLAIMER: I HAVE NOT SEEN DEADPOOL)

The script:

What the *bleep* do you *bleep*ing think you're *bleep*ing doing you *bleep*er. The *bleep* is *bleep*ing *bleep*, and you are *bleep*.

I don't know whether this would spoil the humour or make it even funnier.

Unless VidAngel added their own substitutions for curse words, it would definitely spoil the humor. A lot of the humor comes from Deadpool's creative cursing (and it really is creative) so an endless series of bleeps would ruin it.

Eh. Going to see Deadpool soon with my mates.

Sure I'm not even 15 yet....

But on of my friend's big brother is buying the tickets

And I DO look a helluva lot older than I am

And it's not like nyone checks our age....

You wouldn't have a movie. Plain and simple, the "censored" version would be a DVD case with a taco wrapper in it.

Aw, c'mon, we should at least get the whole taco. You know. Compensation. ;)
