I just realized:

I don't think I've ever made a pun on Delightful's name.

That is wonderful news :P:)

I was searching for an organisation so I typed 'zionist' into Google. Third guessed result: Zionist conspiracy.

Gee, thanks google. Do I get to secretly rule the world yet? *rolls eyes*

I got similar results when I typed in "why do zionists" just to see what Google said. Apparently they want to take over the world, which was news to me.

And we can read Sanderson books by using Morzathoth's money to buy them on Kindle! :D

...that sounded less criminal in my head.

I'd capitalise Jew, but otherwise that was a perfectly acceptable level of snark. :P:)

Hmm....".zionists want to be left alone to invent cool stuff and eat shwarma with hummous

" sounds a lot more accurate to me. :P

Ok. Your fault Twi. I tried "why do Jews"

1. Not eat pork. Ok fair question.

2. Why do Jews wear hats. Now they're probably talking about Hasidic hats but let's go with "to keep out the sun"

3, have big noses. ???,,, maybe it's to balance out our horns or something. *rolls eyes again*

I got "why do Jewish women wear wigs." Is….is that a thing? I don't think that's a thing.

Actually, it is a thing. They're just usually so well made that you can't tell unless you know what you're looking for. Some (married) women don't wear a wig, but cover their hair in a scarf/mitpachat, or a tichel which I have heard is called a snood in English, except snood sounds like a dr Seuss word.

Edit with pictures:

Wig aka sheital

One of many variations of mitpachtot (that's the plural world)

Tichel:

And because relevance and because she's awesome, here's a spoken word poem about why: [expresses her own opinion only. There are lots of different reasons. Disclaimer disclaimer disclaimer :P)

Edit: and pictures don't like me again today. Sorry

I've heard the myth about Mormons having horns, but I wasn't aware people thought that about Jews as well! The nonsense some people will believe...

I believe it comes from a mistranslation about Moses coming down Mt Sinai. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ that and plain human stupidity. Actually I've never heard the myth about Mormons.

BTW I edited the above post to be more informative. :)

Yeah, I found out after I moved to Utah that apparently there is a popular urban legend that Mormons have horns. And people actually believe it. And all I can say is, we're human just like everyone else; how could you POSSIBLY believe that??

I heard a story which may or may not be true of a couple girls (women?) in an airport being harassed by some anti Semite. At which point one of them said "we're not Jewish, see, no horns" .......at which point the guy left them alone.

The world is a strange place.

One should be careful with "X have horns" stories since very few people believe such, and many more are convinced of their falsehood.

I say to be careful because a lot of times, such stories serve "X" (Mormons, Jews, Muslims, etc) more than anyone else. It creates a "persecution complex" that the religion/group can use to rally or strengthen the membership of its group.

Just personal observation on my part :)

Glenn Beck's radio show just stopped being aired on the local radio station, supposedly because he's anti-Trump.

There are a lot of Trump supporters down here.

Please send help. I don't want to live in this county anymore.

Mostly I'm just confused by it, honestly. :P I'm halfway convinced they're all joking. But they ask so seriously...

People are generally pretty nice when it comes to religion. I think people are generally pretty nice about most stuff, really, but there's just that handful of mean people and crazies that yell louder than everybody else.

Kaymyth? I think we need to take a road trip. You, me, ThirdGen, and all the pro-Sanders picket signs we can carry.

I just recently thought about how Heralds meet with the hundreds of the Knights of their respective Orders, give advice, listen to the problems they face and offer solutions, tell the tricks one can do with these Surges and so on...
while Ishar meets his Bondsmith(s) and is like "So, you doing good? What were the previous Bondsmiths doing? You don't know? Why? Oh, the previous ones died before you met them?" *checks the time* "Ok, the other Heralds will be checking the Knights for at least an hour, wanna play cards?"
