My gum around one of my top front teeth has been getting on my nerves past 2 days. I dislodged something and when the particle came out my gum gushed blood out. It was freaky. Looked unreal like a blood capsule bitten in movies. Feels much better now.

Blood tends to look worse than it is, especially in your mouth, when it's surrounded by saliva as well.  Floss regularly for a few days and that should stop.

Yeah, mouth blood looks hideous when it gets all over your teeth. Makes you look like you've gone all Hannibal Lecter.

Now I'm the one with the flu.

..... for a second there I thought you typed 'I am one with the flu'.

Get well soon!

in the meantime;

"I am one with the flu, the flu is one with me. I am one with the flu, the flu is one with me...."

Mouth blood looks delicious in my opinion.

Fake movie blood can be.  Tastes almost like Krispy Kreme filling.

On one hand, that's sweet! (Pun intended) On the other hand, why do you know this?

It really looked like I had bit a movie blood capsule. I wish I had had my phone in pocket cause I would have snapped away. Filled my entire mouth and coated my teeth! All that just cause this tiny TINY! bit of debris was stuck. Nuts I tell y'all.

I have made movies.  One character I played did not have a fun time with his new Mafia friend.

The trailers are very sweary and violent.  Plus, that feels like a couple of lives ago.

It'd still be cool to see them. I bet they were pretty good.

Ok, so now I've gone basically three full days with severe...intestinal issues that come with a stomach bug or flu. I won't go into detail obviously, but I'm potentially in danger of dehydration I feel, regardless of how much water I can drink. Might have to call the doctor tomorrow if it doesn't at least get a bit better.

Well... okay.  Language, gore, swastikas in one of 'em...

My credits:
Deep River: assistant director, actor, editor

Paragon: assistant director, actor

Phelps Avenue: extra in a fight scene

Blood of Me: co-writer, production assistant

I was about to say 'Go see the doctor immediately' then I remembered that you guys have to worry about insurance. Are you covered? If not, can you afford it? Then go see the doctor immediately. If you have concerns about dehydration then you are in seriously bad shape.

I am covered by good insurance. The worry was an intellectual one of knowing I need to avoid it more than actually feeling dehydrated, so we've taken steps to prevent it. I've been in bed all day today, though, except trips to the bathroom, but it is easing up. Activated Charcoal is pretty effective apparently.

Good! And be careful. And don't go on the Oregon Trail.

Aaaand I'm off to the hospital. Not dehydration, but another complication I won't go into.

Edit: headed home, nothing of note.

Dearest parents, I'm glad that you know that the best way to raise emotionally stable children is to yell at them several times a week.

(This is extremely sarcastic, please do not do this)

Well, this week is not off to an auspicious start.

Got an email from a company today, asking if we could let their client do <Thing That Is Illegal>.  No.  No, we cannot.  Because it is, as it happens, illegal.  And I said so in about as many words with a (very thin) veneer of politeness.

Seriously, this is so mind-bogglingly stupid I can't even think up a good Redacted, Inc metaphor story to explain it.  You'll just have to trust me when I say that just the fact that this person asking me to do the thing gave me a momentary overwhelming desire to smack them with a cricket bat.
