I just shovelled the driveway.

There is snow falling from the sky.

The forecast calls for snow every day for the foreseeable future.

It is March!!!

No more! Just... no more! Please!

This feels like revenge from the rest of Canada for the last decade of absolutely minimal snowfall.

Over here, winter is almost nearly over: all the snow surprisingly melted away in... February which quite frankly never happens. For once, this stupid groundhog got it right... We usually laugh at the groundhog predicting either an early spring or 6 more weeks of winter because, in Montreal, on February 2nd, there always are 6 more weeks of winter.

Except this year. We've had April's weather in February. This just never happens. No more snow. Weather forecasts say rain and warmth for the next week... And no snow.

I say, winter is not over: it will snow again. At least once, but I am really tempted to remove those winter tires.... Just a few more days before it is legal to do so. In the meantime, early spring and not snow falls equates to the best commuting time of the year: bye bye traffic. Can't complain -_-

So SORRY if you've got all of our snow  If it keeps going like it is currently going, we might just might have to drag the landmower our of the shed by the end of March :o And maple syrup season is kicking in early, apparently we are on the verge of breaking a production record -_-

@maxal - you want the snow back? Cuz you can have it back ;)

seriously though, this is painful. Just brutal.

In Texas, we haven't had snow once this winter. I think the coldest it got was in the mid-twenties once. The past few weeks, besides for a few cold fronts, we've been having 60/70 degree weather. We even had a couple days where the high was in the low 80s.

@StrikerEZ I would think getting no snow in Texas, a very southern state, is pretty normal. Am I missing something?

Yeah, we usually don't get snow hardly at all in Texas. But it usually doesn't get this warm for a couple more weeks.

However, some winters it snows a lot. But we haven't had one of those in awhile.

I don't know about Texas, but in New Mexico and Arizona, it depends on where you are. I saw snow twice while I lived in Tucson—which shocked the locals, because that doesn't happen there. But about an hour and a half drive from Tucson was Summerhaven, a little town on top of Mount Lemmon, which got snow every year. New Mexico is much the same way—in the valleys, you don't see a lot of snow; but in mountain towns like Silver City, it's not unusual to get a little snow. (I was five when we lived there, and one of my earliest memories is of desperately trying to build a snowman out of less than an inch of snow. XD)

Nope. You can keep it. And you can also buy the one from years to come as well. We'll give you a very good price.

This being said, I absolutely share you utter desperation. A few years ago, we had such a bad winters, the thermometer spent two full months at -20°C. Even late in March, it was still around -20°C in the mornings. Painful. Brutal.

I don't know what to do.

A friend of mine on Clash of Clans, a mobile app, has disappeared. He's in his late forties, his wife divorced him last year and then was murdered, his kids hate him, and he has a crappy job, barely surviving on the little money he earns. He's an alcoholic, too. Just maybe 45 minutes ago, he started talking weird, and saying stuff like "god take me home," and "I can't take it no more." He said bye...and he's been gone ever since.

I don't know much about him, except that his name is probably Mike Z, his username in the game. I don't even know where he lives. The closest I've got is Ohio. That doesn't really help at all.

I'm hoping he's just drunk and messing around with us. But I'm scared for him. I don't know what to do.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, there isn't anything you *can* do. But it says alot about you that you're afraid for him.

*hugs

Thanks. But that doesn't stop me from worrying. Even though I know worrying won't help him.

I've had a pretty bad day today...
To start off with, I woke up really early, don't know what time. The elastic bands in my braces snapped, meaning I had to get up, so I didn't get back to sleep.
First lesson was science, and I was still feeling tired. We got our test results from last week back, and I got 55%. Not only are tests really important to me, but I'm really sensitive, and and I cry really easily when upset. I can't help it, and I hate it.
So, y'know, not such a great day.

:( That sounds like a really bad day. I have friends with braces, and they constantly complain about them so I understand your predicament. Don't hate the fact that you cry easily. Crying is therapeutic and is a way for one to vent their emotions. I envy the fact you can cry so easily tbh, I have no way to vent my emotions and they just stay inside bottled up.

*hugs tightly

Do you know anyone who knows him?

I was practically alone at the desk all day yesterday. Fortunately, today I have a coworker who will....

....sit there in silence, refusing to acknowledge patrons or answer the phone until he has no choice, leaving me to pick up his slack. Great. <_<
