I encourage you to Seek whoever you personally think is most likely good or most likely evil. One gives you a teammate you can trust, the other tells you where to hunt. Both have advantages. It's up to you. 1

The phrasing could have been put better to be like "...not known" And, the U is capitalised, so, that implies it is used as a proper noun. Why would they want to kill Araris? He had one post and no connections to anyone except me and Lopen. I mentioned that he is probably the Rioter that killed Lopen, so maybe it's a revenge kill? Obviously that theory was wrong but still. Who would want to kill Araris?

And, in killing Araris, they might have meant to rid the village of a Rioter? I don't really know, but, again, one can never be too sure.

Herowannabe he/him Posted December 31, 2015 Posted December 31, 2015 Sorry I haven't been active much this cycle- I've been very busy with work and real life and most importantly- prepping to run a Mistborn Adventure Game session tomorrow with a new group. I just got caught up with the thread so far (although I still need to read a few pages from the night cycle. Apparently there was some plan for scanning Alvron?) Right now my biggest suspicions are Adavantos, for the same reasons Wyrm said- It's all too elaborate and unnecessary a scheme if you're telling the truth, and Hellscythe. It could just be that I'm not use to your play style, since this is the first game we've played together, but I get the vibe from your posts that you are actively trying to cover up and misdirect the village. And your challenges to the Eliminators and your IKYK game don't convince me. I play on an IKYKIK level. 1

Not many others have come to side with Wyrm except to say that we shouldn't kill a Tineye. And they haven't for a good reason. And Wyrm knows it too. The less people he takes down with him the better. But voting for me for "actively trying to cover up and misdirect the vilage" strikes me as off. I've done nothing but attempt to ensue discussion all day since this has been the most inactive cycle all game. What frustrates me the most about your accusation is that here's nothing to misdirect the village with if they won't talk about anything. The most we've talked about is Adavantos claiming Seeker. And now you suspect him for actually creating discussion (unlike you btw). Same thing with the last 2 trusted groups I started. Y'all talk about not trusting each other too much and nothing else. Start throwing ideas out there. Catch someone in a lie. Find out a role. See someone react weird to something. Information. Get stuff done. In addition, I like Adavantos and is on the good side of my list. Your reasoning for suspecting him is because he was trying to get information. However, I will chip in about Hellscythe, as I may be tempted to switch my vote to him later on. I am in two minds about Hellscythe. His playstyle is generally what I would term as 'forceful' (look who's talking). That can tend to ruffle feathers and polarise the opinions of other players. As such, I'm not sure whether I think he's evil, or if it's just how he's phrasing things that makes me think like that. As someone who suffers from that, I'm a little conscious of that effect. On the other hand, he's doing a lot of stuff on my Eliminator-Trying-To-Appear-Village bingo sheet. He is requesting a scan on himself, he's being exuberant about getting an Eliminator in the lynch, he's very active, and he's trying to misdirect and split the village by focusing on one person. I find it particularly amusing that he also talks Hreo down for suspecting someone who created discussion with an odd strategy, which is kind of the exact same thing I was trying (though mine was much less convoluted). All of these things are starting to add up and outweigh The Hellscythe Effect in my mind.

But I'd like a little more clarification on the why of the vote. Is Stink one of your main suspicions then? Or are you just voting for him because I didn't remove my vote from you, and it's an easy place to put your vote? If he's not, who are your main suspicions? And if he is, why? Just because he's doing the same as you, and has avoided making voting choices? (I do note that his response was to correct your usage of affect/effect which, while important, is not an actual response to your comments about him).
