Kobold King he/him Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Yeah, it at least means I can avoid earning an outburst to some degree. I mean, she still freaks out over random things that don't make any sense, but I know how to placate her, for the most part. You should start keeping a spritzer bottle on hand at all times. If your folks bother you, ask them to stop, and if they don't, spritz them. If they tell you you're being immature, spritz them more. If they start yelling, take it as a sign that you're on the right track and spritz them even more. This plan can only end well. 11

Kobold King he/him Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 You offering up your farm as a refuge? Refuge for whom? Twi's parents? I don't see them winning a spritzer bottle battle, so I'm not sure how Twi would get driven out of the house.

I don't know about her parents but I'd run away from that! 2
Briar King Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 .....what's a chigger? Gosh I feel sorry for complaining. Kas, where do you live? They are baby Red bugs that are active till the weather drops below 55F. That's one of the reasons I love Fall and Winter so much cause they are dormant. They leave nasty pus bites that itch like mad and they love getting snuggling up next to your nether regions.

Kestrel she/her Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 More spurr of the moment. I just get attached to characters and plots easily.
Kobold King he/him Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 More spurr of the moment. I just get attached to characters and plots easily. I feel your pain. For what it's worth, I bet they're just not prone to posting much in general and will get back to you soon. I doubt seriously you've done anything to offend them.
Kestrel she/her Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Yeah, since we started it on the weekend when activity is good. Eh, I know I shouldn't be hurt, its just one of those things like.. if I see someone's been online but hasn't replied to me I get butterflies. I'm so clingy it hurts 1

I'm so clingy it hurts I have this same issue with online dating...like we are having (what I think) is a good conversation. Then mid conversation it just stops. I start rereading previous posts, analyzing it, like "what did I do?!" I wish I didn't get that way but it is impulsive for me. Edited November 18, 2015 by azninvasion99
Elbereth she/her Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 I do a similar thing. And often I also do the opposite. Sometimes I've been PMing on here (or on other sites) for hours with someone, and then I have to go off suddenly before I can respond to the latest post, and I worry "what if they think I just don't have anything to say?", etc. When it happens to me, I generally convince myself "oh, he's sleeping" or "she's going to class" or something, but still.
Elbereth she/her Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 I did always like that moment, yes.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 .....fudgey fudge buckets. Wrong thread.

Yes, because those regions have the tenderest skin. *shudder* 1

Yeah I have to do a lot of personal convincing just to calm myself down a little when that happens. I also have that issue where I think I left them with nothing to respond to and so I send another message. But then I start worrying that I'm nagging them if I send multiple messages before a response. It is an endless circle for me.
Elbereth she/her Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Yes. Exactly that. And I know it's not really a big thing, and I don't worry about it much, but still.

The Honor Spren she/her Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Ugh. Have a deadline to finish sewing my dress and finish my homework by tonight, work on them both all day, and realize neither of them will be able to get done. Perfect. 3

Sew your homework INTO your dress. Not sure what that'll accomplish, but it should be fun. 7
