Hopefully we get some more clips from god games… i am anticipating that it will be a good song. Do you know if he cut man of the house from his list or if it was re named

God Games will be in the Wisdom Saga, so in the one after the Thunder Saga. Hopefully we'll get it by Christmas!

Man of the House seems to be cut, but like other cut songs such as "Ismarus," we'll see clips and pieces of it show up in other songs.

The Fandom Wiki has a list of all of the current song titles, synopses, and lyrics from Tiktok for them. However, it's not always accurate and is subject to pieces of demos for future songs. (It had Scylla's voice listed as someone months before the role was revealed last week and a LONG time after said listed applicant confirmed she did NOT get the role of Scylla.)

The level 99 dungeon theme from Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail. When the chorus kicked in at about 1:26 my jaw dropped. This games music cannot be beat in my opinion. The track is called "Anatomy of Existence".

Still blasting Thunder Saga on repeat, but there's still more!

"can you see me in the dark" by Halestorm and I Prevail. I've never heard of either band until 30 minutes ago, but I really like the song! It reminds me of "Bring Me to Life" by Evanescence with a little more Bring Me the Horizon thrown in. (The mix of heavy synths and rock, and the song just feels thematically similar to some of their songs.)

I also went on a nostalgia iTunes binge and rebought some old songs from an account I no longer have access to.

"Distance (M-Flo Remix)" by Hikaru Utada - I remember discovering this song from a Kingdom Hearts AMV probably close to ten years ago. At the time, the album wasn't on iTunes, so I had to order it through Amazon and burn it to my iTunes on my old computer. That computer has since died, so no more access! I still have the CD laying around, but buying it from iTunes was far easier. I still associate this song with Kingdom Hearts, even if it's not related in any official capacity.

(For those who adore Hikaru's Kingdom Hearts songs but don't know where to start for the rest of their music, I'd start with the latest album BAD MODE, as it has "Face My Fears" in English, Japanese, and remixed on the album. From there, I'd recommend working backwards to Hatsukoi (my favorite album) and Fantome. After that, I'm probably not the most helpful version, but I loved the Beautiful World/Kiss and Cry EP, which will bring you full circle back to BAD MODE, since the remix of "Beautiful World" was one of the major singles from the album.)

TOPxMM - EP - Twenty One Pilots x MuteMath. MuteMath feels like an old friend musically. We don't keep up, but we've had some very good and memorable times together. Their first album, MuteMath, is still one of my all-time favorite albums. I really Blurryface from Twenty One Pilots, so seeing this collaboration made the EP an immediate buy from me. ("Heathens" is good too I guess. Probably the second-best thing to come out of that one DC movie, right behind casting Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn. (Yes I know the name.))

"Clipping" by MuteMath - My favorite song by the band that isn't present on their titular album or their Spotlight EP.

B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray - B.o.B. gets a lot of flack for being a flat earther, AND RIGHTFULLY SO! But this album and the few after it are actually pretty stinkin' good. Or were at the time at least. This one still holds up! (I'm considering buying "Chattering" by this artist as well, but I'm really not sure I like it.)

"Cold Case" by Elle Varner - I love Elle Varner and I for nearly a decade I thought this song just wasn't on iTunes. It turns out, I had just been looking in the wrong place for all that time...

"Thistle & Weeds" by Mumford & Sons - I can't even remember how or why I know this song. Maybe it was on the radio? Maybe it was in a show? No idea.

"Explosive" by Bond - This song was my White Whale for nearly half of my life. I remember first hearing it in a Naruto AMV in the early days of YouTube. I would search for that AMV for YEARS and never found it. I'd try humming it in different song recognition apps, but nothing ever pulled up. The closest I ever got to hearing again was once in a random airport lounge where I was able to hear the final notes of the song before I could pull out my phone and try to record or recognize it. A few years ago, I went on another potentially fruitless hunt - this time on Reddit! - but by the grace of God I found the AMV and the song! One of the comments had the song, and, after over a decade, we were reunited. That was in, 2021? 2022? (I DM'd the Redditor who posted the title of the song later on, so they could know that their 7-9 year old comment actually helped someone, and they responded. But alas, that was deleted in Reddit's big update a year or so back.) Today was the day I decided to buy it so I could never lose it again.

EDIT: "Just Love" by Lubalin is another song I've been listening to a lot.

gosh dang its been almost a month since thunder saga.

For me, I have found great joy in more simple covers of songs. My new favorite of Mamma Mia is this thing:

 It just sounds like home

Porter Robinson just released a new album. It's...unique. I like it, though it doesn't pluck the same emotional strings for me as his last two. (This is not a criticism, just so we're clear.)

"Year of the Cup" would be my favorite song on the album if it didn't heavily sample a Lil Wayne interview in which he swears profusely--it's got such pretty instrumentation. Other than that, I love "Is There Really No Happiness?" and "Kitsune Maison Freestyle".

I just love this guy's style, and he's got such a pleasant voice. I really think he's one of the best working now--he's certainly one of my favorites.

I might be in a hostage situation. Oh well.

For a moment I thought they were Atarashii Gakko and had added new members lol!

I'm listening to Epic the Musical: Wisdom Saga on repeat (like I assume several others here!) and am enjoying it greatly. I don't think that it's hit the emotional highs and lows that the Thunder Saga did, but it's lived up to the hype and the sheer variety in the songs, and the growth of the fandom have made it a blast to be a part of. Also, THE MEME FACES!

Favorite Song:

"Love In Paradise" - As has been the case with the Underworld and Thunder Sagas, and since I've been aware of the previews as a whole, the song I'm most excited for oftentimes isn't my favorite. For example, I was most excited for "Monster" and "Scylla" originally, and while they are absolutely phenomenal songs, the songs that stole my heard from those two sagas were "The Underworld," and "Mutiny."

For the Wisdom Saga, I was most excited for "God Games," and while the song lived up to the hype and ended in a big way, "Love In Paradise," actually had a lot more things within the song that I personally enjoy (call backs, emotional turmoil, future memes and jokes), so it's my favorite.

Favorite moments so far:

"What'chu gonna do about it, champ?"

"Uppercut him, now."

"All right now, let's try this again."

"I could sleep at night..."

"Maybe to fall is to learn one way..."

"All I hear are screams..."

"Or MEEEEhhh?"

New Band-Maid album!

Ayyy! Epic Narratives! I've only listened to the album once fully so far - "Heavy Is the Crown" is taking up my audio space, but I think I like it better than most of Unleash (barring "From Now On" and "Unleash!!!") and about as much as Unseen World, but not as much as CONQUEROR (my favorite album).

My favorite songs on the album so far are:

"SHOW THEM," "Forbidden tale," "Brightest star," "The one," "Toi et moi," and "TAMAYA!"

I honestly don't care for "Get to the top," which is weird, because I usually adore Band-Maid's instrumentals.

As mentioned above, "Heavy Is the Crown" by Linkin Park is my song on repeat right now. I'm also enjoying "ceasefire" by STIM and "Dead to Me," and "Barely Breathing" by From Ashes to New (the one featuring the lead of Against the Current).

AS A SIDE NOTE, if you're a fan of Linkin Park, From Ashes to New isn't really the best replacement IMO. Sure, they're a NuMetal band that does the whole rock/rap thing, and they're inspired heavily by Linkin Park, and while their latest album isn't BAD, I wouldn't say it captures the spirit of Linkin Park. For that, I'd go to a contemporary of LP, Bring Me the Horizon. Between BMTH's blend of synth/electronic sounds and hard rock, to the mix of singing and screaming, to the more emotional songs, to even having some of their songs (particularly "Can You Feel My Heart") reaching meme status, they feel more in-line to scratch that itch than From Ashes to New does. FATN feels like they want to honor Linkin Park how they remember it - this in-and-of itself isn't bad, but it's also not the best. BMTH isn't trying to honor Linkin Park, but is instead doing their own thing. However, in doing their own thing, they feel like they're capturing the spirit of what Linkin Park is.

EVERYTHINGS CHANGED SINCE POLITES

*ahem*

epic the musical is a thing that is very nice.

Also the Frieren: Beyond Journey's end soundtrack goes incredibly hard.
