Happy listening. ^_^

I listened to their latest album at work, really good! I'll have to dive into the rest of their discography.

Also, RIP Keith Emerson. Listening to Tarkus in his honor. :(

They really need to stop dying, this is making me sad...

Voivod - Post Society

New ep from my favorite Prog Metal band, sounds awesome as always.

"More Than A Feeling" by Boston from "Boston". But that's right now, I recently listen to various OSTs as I'm learning. Avatar The Legend Of Aang OST and The Legend of Korra OST, The Witcher OST, The Witcher: Wild Hunt OST (why haven't I listened to Assassins Of Kings yet?).

Also, you should check out  Omega - The Girl With Pearl Hair.

Crimson Glory - Lost Reflection

Crimson Glorys two first album are seriously some of the best Metal to ever be recorded.

Surprisingly, I'm listening to Mac Lethal and Eminem. I don't usually but it felt like a good night to listen to some rap.

I've been listening to Castle of Glass by Linkin Park on repeat for all of today. I'm trying to resist my urge to memorize songs I like because then I inevitably end up getting sick of them, but it's worming its way there.

BreathTaker, have you by any chance listened to any of Watsky's work? He's a spoken word poet turned rapper, so he mainly focuses on lyricism, but he's definitely got a fast rap element to his songs.

Listening to Nightwish(first and second Eras, as I don't really like the way Floor sings), and Sonata Arctica. Sometimes throwing Woodkid into the mix when I am not in the mood for Symphonic Power Metal.

I've also recently discovered Stratovarius and Metric, the former being metal from Finland like Nightwish and SA and the later being something from Canada, but I still am not sure what exactly.

Is their tour coming your way? It was awesome when they were in my neck of the woods in Feb.

Not checked. Truth to be told, I feel somewhat afraid of going to live concerts. All those people standing together...

I've started listening to Hamilton, the broadway play.

I can feel an obsession starting to bud.

I'd recommend it to everybody, but if you want to stay away from explicit content (like me) skip the song labeled "Say No to This"

Big Star - #1 record

If you haven't heard of these guys, there's a really interesting documentary on Netflix about them. They were a 70's band that in my opinion were waaaaay ahead of their time musically, got all kinds of critical acclaim, but due to poor management by the label they were under and a bunch of other weird unfortunate coincidences never got commercially successful. They inspired all kinds of big names in rock, but were almost unknown. Sad, weird story but man oh man, every song they wrote on their first two albums should have been a hit single.

*edit* You may know a cover version of one of their songs as the theme song from That 70's Show.
