ahh and dont be hard on me coz its going to be my first game coz just today i discovered sanderson elimination :P

It's good to have more cannon fodder a new player!

In all seriousness, welcome to the 17th Shard. I notice that the two above are your first, and that is a commendable thing indeed, skipping the Introduction Thread and going straight into the fray. *slow claps*

I look forward to seeing you in action this game, and hope to kill you personally. :P

Btw, double posting (posting directly after yourself) is generally frowned upon, as you can edit posts, but no one will hit you for it.

Another new player? Nice.

Of course, it may just be the nature of the game, but I can't help but wonder how many of these first timers are really old school players trying to get back into the game without their reputations following them :P

actually its my friend - he read brandon books too so I told him what I found in the web yesterday (the findilti findilti is findiltios from dragonlance)

Thank you very much for running this Aonar! Could I please join as Orlok? If I have the chance I shall edit in an RP post at a later point.

So, reading back through the sign ups, can I just say that I think it's hilarious that half of us are playing characters who are delusional or mad in some way? And the other half all appear to be world hoppers of some sort? I mean, what must Thranadal think of his army? Half of his troops think that they could take on a Herald and win and the other half couldn't tell you the difference between crem and a great shell.

Nowhere does it say we are all soldiers, merely refugees from Thanadal's camp.

It just so happens there were a lot of people visiting from other worlds when the call came, and come on, it's Urithiru!! Which self respecting worldhopper would pass up the chance to visit?

I'm actually going to have to bow out of this one. Wormhole research calls loud enough to make this unfeasible for me, unfortunately.

Madon, a crem collector is in. :)

Nothing's wrong with collecting crem. :P And he most definitely can tell the difference between greatshells and crem. One's in his collection, the other isn't. :P

I am studying physics at university, and my undergraduate research project is on wormholes. Which is why my MR character is a wormhole researcher. :P

It's fun, but the work is getting seriously intense, and I probably shouldn't have even signed up for the MR game. But the past is past, and all that.

Cool. That sounds fun. And probably a lot more glamorous than it really is...:P

Alright, I'll join.  Please don't kill me on the first night again >.<

Whenever someone meets Plurn Burn, they always think about how much like the king's wit he is; that's most of the reason why he calls himself the 'king's whit.'  Has no idea how to use most fabrials, but he seems to know a lot about certain other mechanisms.

"Storm powered lights.  That sounds absurd, but it's right here in front of me."

As someone who denied the chance to go that heavily into the maths aspect of space-science but has heard about it from friends... I find this both an interesting subject and a terrifying one. Good luck!

I'm mostly posting here because I will be somewhat absent during the next week (graduation, woo!), so I am passing on the chance to play this game, and would like to request a speculation doc link.

so here it is - the backstory for eradin (and by backstory i mean what happebd few days ago) :

Eradin was excited to go to the adventure to Urithiru (he didnt like the though they are fleeing to Urithiru) but as an old soldier he suspected there will be some troublemakers in the journey - those selish world hoppers cannot be trusted - and the journey will be dangerous but to fight with the Blackthorn? that was his dream from when he was a kid! he must reach Dalinar!

but despite the feelings and the warnings that his gut sent him when he saw the huge group of those selish worldhoppers he decided to join in and help his his friend in a journey to the mythical city and maybe kill something in the way!

(a lot of his will to help came from the fear he will be eaten by voidbringers).

Few questions onthe game (as i said I am new):

1)Votingn - is voting is on day turn and any1 can vote?

2)Action - action is on night turn? and players who dies by vote they die at night?

3)Death - if some1 is dead you know what was they role and if they was bad/good?

4) if you want to vote or do an action you need so send a PM to the GM?

Eo shall be joining!

She is most definitely not a worldhopper from Sel. There's no relation to the Eo of the great Faction War. NO RELATION AT ALL. In fact, this Eo is actually Thaylen. Those eyebrows look pretty good, eh? Yep. They're not fake. Promise. She's actually Thaylen. Definitely didn't worldhop from Sel. Nope.

1. Voting for the lynch only occurs during Day turns, and all currently living players can vote. To make things easier on the GM (me) you should write the name of the person you're voting for in red somewhere in the post where you accuse them. (And if you change your mind, put their name in green somewhere to show that you no longer wish to vote for them.)

2a. This game is a little different from most in this respect. The majority of role actions can take place during either the Day, or Night turns, with different effects in each. (Exceptions being Transformation, Progression, Division, and Diagramist Kill, which can all only be used at Night.) At Night, actions have a direct effect on the other players, while during the Day, actions have various effects on the votes people make.*

2b. Players who are killed by the lynch vote die at the end of the Day turn. (In the end of Day write-up. A player who is attacked at Night will die at the end of the Night, in the end of Night write-up.)

3. Yes, in this game, alignment and role will be revealed in someone's death write-up. (Not all games function this way, but most do.)

4. Votes should be made public, in the thread for the Day turn. Actions, whether they're Night or Day actions, should be made by PM to the GM.

*However, everyone should note that Radiants can only make use of two actions per every three cycles, regardless of whether they're used during the Day or the Night, and Squires can only do one. So be careful with your actions.

(Wyrm: Do you still need a link to the doc? I noticed your name and colour were there already.)

I know everyone loves me and wants to be helpful all the time, but... Yeah, I do need the link. Someone's just put it there for me :P. It'd be appreciated.

Would appreciate a link to the spec doc as well, please :) Sitting this one out, for sure. MR7's put me so far behind on my thesis I dread to see my supervisor.

I'm signing up as Akirsefatafesrika, a dark-eyes who's name is so long, nobody ever noticed that it is actually perfectly symmetrical, and thereby, blasphemy. No, you may not call him Fat, because he isn't. He hopes to survive the trip, but he wasn't actually ever in the army, he was just lying down on some rocks to die when it started raining, and a lot of people went by. So, for kicks, he snuck up, knocked someone unconscious, stole their uniform and gear, and got in formation. Nobody noticed.

Kazaaakplethkilik is signing up! A legendary worldhopping thief who turned to Roshar, hearing that some of the most dangerous, expensive, and protected treasures in the cosmere were held there. Hopefully this journey won't be his last.

Alvonoha is joining up.

Alvonoha walked with his head bowed.  His bald head crisscrossed with cracks and his skin a slate grey colour.  He was wearing a soulcaster on his hand.  Why he wasn't walking with the other ardents, no one knew but rumours were abound that ever since he had found that strange animal a few days ago he had changed.

The animal, that Alvonoha called a cat, poked it's head out of Alvonoha's hood.  It's head was completely black except for where two bits of metal could be seen poking out from the skull.  Where the metal was, the fur had turned a deep red.   It looked around, yawned then lowered it's head and went back to sleep.

Edit: removed extra l in name.  No idea how that got there. *shifty eyes*
