Tesh Any pronouns Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 Just now, AonEne said: There's a Cosmere symbol? Yeah.
Reckless Reader Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 (edited) This is the Cosmere symbol, there's much debate about where each part comes from. Note that the star at the canter has sixteen points. EDIT: Sorry, it didn't show up. You know you're a Sanderfan when you see someone with white-blond hair and wonder how they could be happy and scared at the same time. Also, what is the process by which one may create a signature? Edited June 9, 2018 by Reckless Reader 4

AonEne he/him Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 Okay, that looks cool. 18 hours ago, Reckless Reader said: You know you're a Sanderfan when you see someone with white-blond hair and wonder how they could be happy and scared at the same time. When you read this and your first thought is "it's going to be about Hoid", followed by recognition of what it actually is and what that's referring to, followed by wondering if that person was Hoid with the Royal Locks, and then wondering if it's possible that Hoid actually has the Royal Locks. Hey, you guys know that theory is probably out there somewhere. 4

The Harlem Worldhoppers he/him Posted June 10, 2018 Posted June 10, 2018 When you normally gloss over background characters in books but now you obsessively pore over their description and dialogue to see if they might be a worldhopper 3
Proud Darkeyes she/her Posted June 10, 2018 Posted June 10, 2018 When you see a road sign that says Wayne and have a minor freakout 3
Slimy_Slider Posted June 10, 2018 Posted June 10, 2018 When you start fantasising about being a feruchemist and the best use of the powers you can think of is storing your memories about Sanderson books to get the full impact of a first time read, over and over. 3
Reckless Reader Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 But think about how useful copperminds would be in school! You could just store the entire textbook in them and access the parts you need, and you could hide the bracers under your sleeves! You know you're a Sanderfan when you're vacuuming the stairs and your dad reminds you to get the risers (the vertical parts), and you say, "Are there any Windrunners or Skybreakers in the house I'm unaware of? Nobody walks on the risers." (He laughed, but made me vacuum them anyway.) 6

Tesh Any pronouns Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 When you started reading your younger sister the first Alcatraz book. She's thoroughly enjoying it. And I only went through chapter two. 1
Tesh Any pronouns Posted June 11, 2018 Posted June 11, 2018 (edited) This post was a mistake. Sorry. But here's something anyways. When you call the little pieces of cotton cottonspren. Then wonder how you can be allergic to human thought. Edited June 11, 2018 by Tesh 6

AonEne he/him Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 Tesh, I'm so sorry! You deserve an upvote for your pain. Although it can't make up the awfulness of an Investiture allergy. 3
Apollyon he/him Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 Ene, you know that on the 17th Shard, upvotes are equivalent to an extra dose of Investiture? It’s like giving her a Breath! She’ll thank you for invoking a near-fatal allergic reaction! 5
Slimy_Slider Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 When you have a 10 minute rant to your friend after you check your school library and realise that they have four copies of each Twilight book and three boxes of The Hunger Games, but not a single one from Brandon Sanderson. (No Terry Pratchett, Scott Lynch and Name of the Wind either. What a joke...) 7
Devout Pathian Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 When your sister asks you if you had to pick one series and you can keep reading/watching it, but you can’t read anything else, what would you pick. I answered Cosmere like any sane Sandersfan. We then agured if the Cosmere counts as a series. She said no it was a few series, but I said yes because they happen in the same world and they all have one character in common. 5
Reckless Reader Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 More than one if you count Khriss and Nazh. Speaking of, I just ran into who I think is Khriss in Bands of Mourning. She's sciency, right? 2

You know you're a Sanderfan when you feel impatient over the downtime between Stormlight books and forget how privileged you are compared to those poor Martin and Rothfuss fans
Tesh Any pronouns Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 TWoT: Last night I had a dream where I was on a movie set, where they were filming the new Frozen movie. Then the person singing let it go, started changing the lyrics to have to do with tWoT. It was really funny. Then my alarm woke me up. With The Alethi Codes of War. I love that song.

We just finished the prologue, so she likes Kelsier.
Sunbird she/her Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 You know you're a Sanderfan when Amazon sends you this email: 6
