Wow congratulations! That's really cool!

What did you play (the music not the instrument) if I may ask?

It’s just etudes from the artistic studies from the French school book. Pages 49, 52, and 62, specifically.

I've made a flag.

I mean I applied different layers of cloth over each other, fixated them and afterwards used a piece of thread to highlight the outlines and add a few details. Now I have a seadragon winding itself around a beacon.

I have used a slightly similar technique before, but never with the thread for highlighting and never with a picture so complicated. And although there are lots of mistakes, I am really happy how it turned out.

From a local cemetery that lots of birds love (4 photos):

Spoiler

Townsend's Solitaire. He might not be much to look at, but he's a very pretty singer.

Woodhouse's Scrub-jay with an acorn. Might be my best photo of a scrub-jay to date.

Orange-crowned Warbler. I swear, this is the dumbest bird name of all dumb bird names. You can never see the orange crown unless you're literally holding the bird in your hand.

Chemistry!

Cool!

My best friend is studying chemistry as well. And I try hard to understand what she is  doing for her thesis, but in the end I only get the gist and none of the details. It seems super complicated to me...
