There´s a very simply proof for it´s horror. I´m still not sure if it's only a joke or if we are serious. :P

Yeah, remember how Algaze/Raycyclist was a totally adorable double date? I'm pretty sure if Lightwards, Lucentia, Bloom and Quota went on a double date, Portland would destroy itself so it wouldn't have to see them anymore. :P

And that is the truth of what happened in Portland, shipping. The most detructive force in fanfiction. :P

I'd read that scene. I'd pay GOOD UPVOTES for that scene. :D

Consider it on its way then :P More and more I regret not giving Neverthere a secondary that would at least allow her to put a ribbon around its neck as she rides. But I do like having her as just a random character who will pop up throughout the RP, dispensing advice and riding dinosaurs.

Remember everyone: the only canon ship is Oregon x Destruction. All other ships are there only to further the Prime Ship.:P

Twi, did you want to do a compilation post in the cottage, or shall we stick to the standard format?

Except Algaze/survival. Oregon/destruction is not to interfere with Algaze. :P

I think a few compilation posts could be a good way to let Funtimes and Vanilla Sabotage converse a bit. If you wanted to start the doc, I'd be able to add some dialogue and edit when I get home tonight. Unless you wanted to stick to the standard format, which is fine with me. :)

I thought that was so obvious I didn't need to point it out. :P

Okie dokie loki. ;) I'll PM you the link as soon as I relearn how to set it up.

Alright, so we´re discussing magic physics now, so there probably isn´t going to be a right answer here. However, if we go by this logic Frostfire could create an infinit amount of energy, which would make him infinitly strong in theory. The problem here seems apparent, at least to me.

It would probably be more under control if the energy he transferes into an objects, doesn´t create a feedback like that, wich would also make sense, given that he isn´t apllying it through his arm or any other physical object but is simply magicing it here.

He also absorbed enough heat to make the club shatter (I assume, you didn´t go into details there) and make the gore on his arm brittle off.

Yeah... I didn't really think that one through. That would make his ability to shift kinetic energy way too strong. Although as things stand, the feedback loop is self-limiting. due to slippage. (He can only transfer so much energy safely, remember.) He's also going have a lot of difficulty applying this ability in combat situations, most of the time. (Anything breaks his concentration, and he's screwed.)

Rather than change a ton, should I retcon in a injury/have him favour his left in the next post?

Making solid objects shatter isn't going to leave him a lot of left over heat, as he's instantly pouring the heat he drained back in to it, to get that rapid expansion/contraction that tears it apart. (Maybe I should clarify that in-RP?)

I'll can edit him distributing the heat from that into the end of the RP/mention it in the next one, if you like.

(Also, what is people's stance on him being able to reapply his gravitational potential energy? That's something I've been wondering. It wouldn't make him a ton more powerful, but it would let him do a lot more things, that maybe he shouldn't be able to do.)

He could pull of the trick by pushing two of his finger together, wile standing a safe distance away as long as he has line of sight and if it´s enough energy to rip appart steel that´s still a lot of energy. (Not that it matters much at this point)

Not sure if him having an injury would help much, the problem isn´t him pulling of that stunt  without harming himself, it´s pulling it of in the first place.

Clarifying that would help, yes.

For the Red post, should she be able to find Fade or not?

You´ll have to ask Fatebreaker here, so to be safe I would recommend red text.

To restate it quickly, since Frostfire is an energy Epic, not a force-manipulating Epic he can't use that trick anyway. When you push against something a normal force can be created from the object but that doesn't involve any extra energy, the two forces simply cancel, nothing's moving which is what Kinetic energy is. There are ways for him to create a limitless amount of energy but that's not one of them.

...And once again, my lack of understanding of the actual physical world betrays itself. :( I'm not sure exactly how all that works, the difference between force and energy and all (aren't they just different expressions of the same thing?), but I'll take your word for it.

Ah well. To re-writing I go! :P

Force and energy have a relationship, but they aren't exactly the same.

In essence, applying a force over a distance changes the kinetic energy of an object. But force isn't energy.

Sorry.

If/when Astoria starts, Vis Vires will join there, and I might reclaim one of my other Epics.  Currently though, all of my writing strength/endurance has been going into a personal project, and one of the main reasons why I haven't posted.  Anyone is free to claim any of my other Epics to use, excepting Hawaii.

Who wants to estimate how many of The Dalles' citizenry would actually read it? :P

Also, I unleashed a dinosaur on Portland, so anyone with a Dominion or MEE character has a free Allosaurus fight for the taking.

Or, you know. We could have him stumble across the Trifecta and devour each one of them before they get a chance to fight back. I'm open to all opportunities.:P

I am all for that idea  Actuslly, I think it would satisfy everyone's needs if Timeport was swallowed by the allosaurus and resurrected inside of it a few times

But... what about the Allosaurus? He doesn't deserve that kind of indigestion. :(:P

I think I found a solution. If we assume that the allosaur is a reincarnated Koschei the Deathless, then no one can feel sorry for it.

I am suddenly regretting not giving Quota a PI :P

It's not the duration of the death scene that matters. What matters is how much pain and trauma you can inflict on him within the few moments it takes for his squishy human body to give way. :P

Amusing isn't it?

Will Quota hit his final Quota? Open to page 5 and find out!

It just occurred to me that in the Mirrorverse, the romance of Thomas Cardinal and Jeanie Jäger is an adorable ship to rival Algaze.:P

And Terry/Quota rivals them in cuteness

I can't even imagine that. More than five seconds of picturing them together at all and my brain threatens to go all Obliteration on me and explode. :o

All brains have a self-destruct mechanism installed, to be detonated in the event of a soul-threatening mental image.

Which is why I'll never ponify Terry/Quota in a comic. It would result in the death of half the forum.
