Same.

I've been playing Assassin's Creed all day. I have a ton of work to do. 8 commissions now. What am I doing

Playing AC

Posted (edited)

Which AC is it?

Without playing Unity or Rogue, I'm going to have to say that Black Flag was my favorite. Although Brotherhood was a lot of fun too. I'm a sucker for being able to upgrade your weapons/ship/allies. :P

Unity. I have Black Flag too. But I just got around to playing it today and Unity looked more interesting to me. Though I have heard Black Flag is better. I guess I'll just have to play both and see!

You've no idea how jealous I am :/ Since my console died, I've never been able to play AC again (PC doesn't quite have the specs, and I'm too used to the controller).

And I never got to try Black Flag, which I was looking forward to! >>

Oh man! I'm really sorry. That stinks.

I didn't start playing any of it until yesterday, but I've had the xbox for longer. My dad was actually about to sell it because my brother's grades started dropping and I was like "no! Mistborn Birthright!"

I hate everyone involved with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them right now.

I wasn't super excited for the movie until Rowling said that Scamander would meet witches and wizards educated at an American school where "indigenous magic was important to the founding." Awesome! Fascinating! I was on the fence about the movie until you said that, and now I want to watch it right now!

Aaaannnnnd it's not coming out until 2016.

That concept does sound fascinating... and it'll be another year until we see it in canon?

I'm as excited as anybody, but there is a lot to be said for the freedom to let our headcanons run wild...

Oh look. Trolls on the cosmere tag of tumblr. This is lovely.

I knew the Cosmere had dragons, but it has trolls too?

Brandon really is embracing all kinds of fantasy tropes.

Long Black Train.

Josh Turner.

I love this song.

^_^

Will give it a try.

I've had "The Phoenix" by Fall Out Boy stuck in my head more or less constantly all day….and I'm not unhappy about it. Much better than some other songs I've had in my head, that's for sure.

I've been playing AC again.

This time my friend came over and we took turns

It was p funny because we both had no idea how to play so we died about fifty times.

I think it's pretty funny how you started with the most recent game instead of, I don't know, the first one. But don't worry I did pretty much the same thing with Brotherhood. I was confused as all get out whenever the scenes with Desmond came around. :P

It came with the xbox so

Like the only reason why I was actually able to play it was because of that because my parents are super overprotective and controling of video games, apparently. And the word "assassin" turned them off instantly when I suggested it.

Especially my dad. He comes up with choices without even doing his research.

And I mean its not bad ?? Like the Hunger Games had more gore and it was more horror gore too. And its not like I don't hear cursing in my house or at school. So like. Yeah. I managed to convince dad on it though, but he doesn't want my brother playing it despite the fact the kid already knows -everything- about it. I don't know how but.

My parents are the same way, but about different things. My mom is still convinced Harry Potter is all about worshipping Satan, even though my brother and I have both read the series multiple times and have told her it's about friendship and other fun stuff. My dad only recently stopped complaining about the magic in Once Upon a Time. Some parents can be weird about that sort of thing. It's like they pick something to get worked up about, and nothing will persuade them not to get worked up about it. <_<

Yeah, my parents were always against magic too. The only magic I had in my childhood was from Narnia and LoTR, and that's just because Gandalf is an angel and Aslan is Jesus. :P To be fair though, there are some magic systems that call up demons and warrant sacrifices and other uplifting things like that. But still, there are plenty of perfectly harmless magic systems out there. Such as Allomancy!

That was me too. I started with AC2 (when it came out) instead of AC, had no idea you ought to gently push people carrying crates so as not to upset the crates. So, after one game of angering both guards and many hapless residents of Firenze, I finally played AC and realised what 'gentle push' was for.

...That moment of sudden enlightenment was gratifying :P

P.S. I always shoved musicians though. No mercy! No taking my hard-earned florins!
