1. TUO - They've barely been online, and the votes they've made have all been made 'just to tie' which to me reads as opportunistic elim. E! read.

Can you explain why you think TMI is Elim? It seems to me that the more information we all have, the better. I’m not understanding why you think it is, other than you did something like that as an Elim in a past game.

Well I was referencing MR 74. I saw a big change in KSOS' playstyle, where previously they were pretty in the background and posted sparingly and were more vibe-based, to suddenly being very invested and engaged with the ruleset, coming up with multiple scenarios and 'wondering' what would happen if elims got some key powers. That led me to be extremely suspicious of them, and I turned out to be right in the end. I had a similar thought regarding Penguin in the last LG, where previously Penguin would make one-sentence posts and generally not give much analysis and suddenly changed their playstyle to actually giving analysis. It's not anything concrete, players do change and evolve over different games, and I try not to judge players based on past game performance, but it's part of why I thought IHAT's posts felt off to me. I do stand on my perception that their posts this game come off as having TMI (too much information) like when they accused Fura of lying or when they come up with possible scenarios for things.

This might be double posting but it'll merge my answers anyway, right? 

To me, TMI means that you have access to too much information. For example, elims automatically know who's villager and who's not. Another example is if you have a role and someone else claims that role. For example, if you're an elim rioter, you would know that Fura could not possibly be a rioter. 

Let's use my past game for example. In the last game, Hoid Slayer lied about the dead drop I sent him and Kas, reporting a different message. So I knew for sure Hoid Slayer was lying, but wanted to discredit Kas. So I used my information that I knew one of them was lying for sure to say "One of Hoid Slayer and Kas is lying", but Kas correctly pointed out that that was a big assumption that I only had because I knew for certain what the message was. 

So what I'm accusing you of is basically having the knowledge of who's elim and who's not, and knowing what roles have been stolen/negated, and using that to make posts that sound informative but doesn't actually contribute to a solve. Does that make sense?

at the risk of looking like an idiot in a e!IHAT world, i actually have the opposite opinion on them (when discussing them with Fura I had a quick glance at their previous game - it seemed to me like this game is considerably more role heavy than that one, and so it’s understandable why a newer player would be excited over role mechanics and take that angle of solving)  

 

i would’ve agreed with u about the whole fura accusation stemming from tmi, had a village rioter not flipped already. ookla the redeemed was a rioter, which means that the elims knew there was a village rioter somewhere in the game. confidently accusing fura of not being one after they claimed it is a very dangerous route for an elim to take because it’s very hard to climb out of that hole once u get the rioter exe’d, but an elim that has removed the village rioter would easily be able to channel their tmi about it to accuse Fura of lying and sounding very genuine while doing it because they’d know they are correct about it

That is very fair, and a point against my accusation. I acknowledge that. 

While I'm just discussing things, I think one of the main reasons I voted for IHAT and also for TJ is just that as an elim, that's not really much you can post, right? You're actively trying to hinder solving the game and posting reads lists and analysis is hard because you're trying to fabricate something as opposed to giving your actual analysis. That's why I was less inclined to trust TJ and IHAT because I didn't see distro solving/speculation as inherently helpful and more something an elim might do to seem like they're contributing.

yeah, agreed, I’ll give u that one - which is why im not rly giving broken any extra points for the mech talk alone tbf. its been more about the sheer passion and the solving energy for me lol

Honor: hasn’t given a lot of analysis, which, as Doc said, gives E!lean, as an Elim doesn’t have much to post about. I’m not sure if that’s the case. If she’s Elim, there’s no reason for her to cover for Mippo, unless Mippo is Elim, and I already said why I don’t think that’s the case. Basically V!lean because it doesn’t make sense if she’s Elim, if she is Elim, she made some very weird decisions.

There were some people I didn’t add to on the analysis, that’s because I haven’t seems anything from them in the last 12-ish hours. So if you want to see my analysis for that, it’s in Night 2. For now, based on this, I’m going to vote Worldhopper

I didn't suspect Honor's Ghost because she voted Mippo, but because she voted with no reasoning. My read changed because I decided that if she were evil, her team would probably get her to give some reasoning.

Honor: hasn’t given a lot of analysis, which, as Doc said, gives E!lean, as an Elim doesn’t have much to post about. I’m not sure if that’s the case. If she’s Elim, there’s no reason for her to cover for Mippo, unless Mippo is Elim, and I already said why I don’t think that’s the case. Basically V!lean because it doesn’t make sense if she’s Elim, if she is Elim, she made some very weird decisions.

There were some people I didn’t add to on the analysis, that’s because I haven’t seems anything from them in the last 12-ish hours. So if you want to see my analysis for that, it’s in Night 2. For now, based on this, I’m going to vote Worldhopper

It's both normal and not normal.  You will never get consistent reads on me no matter how many games we play together so gut votes and vibes are generally the best you can work with from me.

Yeah, I actually do. One is just not participating. The other is not knowing what to do and leaving it up to chance. Votes are how you make progress, a refusal to do that doesn’t make sense as that’s how you do this. WorldHopper is refusing to play the game, refusing to make progress.

That was me! And nobody listened to me!

 

I haven't read all of C1 yet, but from what I've seen:

Doc: not a lot of reads. They haven't fished during their PMs, so I don't love the mini-train that happened. Neutral-village.

Jo: a little iffy from what I've read, but nothing major. Neutral.

Honor's Ghost: I'm feeling V, but I don't know why. Maybe I misunderstood this post, but it seemed as though they don't have a lot of defense. Also, this post seemed really weird to me. Why would you execute Doc just for fun? Really could be anywhere.

Broken: what did Doc say in PMs? They're pushing against me for inactivity, so faint v!lean for that, but strange vote turnaround.

KSOHS: opposite of Broken, but could also just be him defending me. Neutral.

Alvron: I'm a bit confused. E!lean.

 

Right now, I think the people that I'm unsure about are Doc and Honor's Ghost, so Imma vote them to see how this tie plays off.
