Eh, quieter people can be pushed sometimes for "they're under the radar" for the exact reasons you're saying, so I wouldn't exactly call that true.

In terms of game-related talk, I have mild village pings from two people, and am slightly side-eyeing one person rn.

It's probably worth noting that this is a 13p game, so it's very likely 10 v 3 (with the 3 being the elims), which is standard for balancing. This is a very normal game by my standards, which is nice.

Starseeker sighed, looking out over the still Purelake. Just one more incomprehensible thing on this Colours-cursed planet. Even weeks after leaving Nalthis, he still was not used to not being able to rely on his priests to do everything for him. 

Looking at the people around him, he noticed that he appeared to be the only Nalthian. Not a big surprise, with how much work it takes to get permission to leave the planet. These people were... quite strange. Most were harder to feel with Life Sense, as if none of them had Breath, but they still could be detected, so they weren't entirely like Drabs. Except Greebas for some reason, who was completely invisible to his Sense. Another exception was Skybreaker Uranihan, who was far easier to detect, and Starseeker could tell that he had the First Heightening. Of course, that was absurd, as non-Nalthians did not have Breath.

This was the key he was looking for. A source of power that was not Breath. Something that could keep him alive. The power of Radiance.

You're the only one who never shuts his noisy gob. Clean out your ear holes, mortal. Listen... they're talking. Greebas doesn't hear anything but you. Well go out there and talk to them, maybe your eyes still work.

*Greebas rolls out from a poorly constructed shelter made of mud, branches, and leaves, covered in mud, and peers around the lake*

It appears we have company, Obdilaurd. Adventurers. Sky-whatsits. The pompous thought police are coming to bother Greebas again. No one leaves poor Greebas alone. Questions, questions, always questions. Maybe we should make them go away. You leave them alone, you know how much attention that draws, and if Greebas go to prison he's never going to finish his work. They said there were criminals about, I don't think we can sit this one out and ignore it. When Greebas wants your advice, the lake will have dried up already, Obdilaurd. Greebas gathers up his scrolls and begins dreading more interactions with society. Lawless criminals, pompous uniformed thugs, self proclaimed peacekeepers, Greebas wants nothing to do with any of them. Just leave Greebas alone so he can clear his head in peace. You're narrating your own behavior again. Well when Greebas talks you stop talking, so Greebas will mutter to himself just to get a break from YOU.

Melahrin edged forwards, slowly, carefully, disturbing the pebbly shore with his boots. He crouched down before the still, clear water, and looked out. He could still see the bottom, even a hundred feet out. Hesitantly, as if he was defacing some great work of art, he lifted a pebble and skipped it. From every point where it grazed the surface, perfectly circular rings radiated peacefully, only disturbed by the other, just as peaceful rings from latter skips. 

He tried again. Now nine rings, some young and strong, some nearing death, disturbed the small sector of water before him. A personal little show. He figured it might get boring after a while, but now, it was like his own personal art show.

Mehlarin looked up, at all the others gathered. They had already started talking, discussing who was the lawbreaker. He stepped towards them, nervous. They’d already noticed his… deformity, he was sure of that, but they hadn’t heard him speak yet. He reached for the sketch in his pocket, and touched it, for confidence. There were other things he could do to make an impression on these people. He walked a little closer, finding flatter ground that wouldn’t hurt his hands, far enough away that it seems like he’s doing his own thing, and starts doing push-ups.

He shrugged, and began arguing with himself about forbidden arcane knowledge, something about curses and death and unlife. Nothing too interesting or important.

Greebas sees you strangers arguing by the lake, which was undisturbed until all the arguing and shouting and skipping of rocks. Might Greebas be of some help sorting out this.... argument? 

Also, please be careful with the lake, it might be cursed, Greebas isn't sure. Something around here certainly is.

I'm a little suspicious of CD, because the hard-sell innocence on D1 seems pretty wolfy, but he's new so I wouldn't read too much into it. 

I just don't trust Penguin in general, but I think he got executed D1 last game, so I won't vote him.

They say dead men tell no secrets. Not true in your case, you never stop telling secrets.

How do you know their names anyway? I can read their minds.

Well why didn't you know they were Polly? And if that were true you could just tell me who the criminals are. Deeper secrets take time. 

Not much of a secret if their life is one of criminal enterprise, lying, cheating, stealing, murder. They put up walls and lie to themselves about who they are, lies take time to unravel.

Well you put your mind to that and stop bothering Greebas.

No. Not again. Javert would make good the mistakes of his past life. There would be no escaped evildoers. 

Looking around at the group, Wishikk and Kaladfin seemed to be the most vocal in encouraging discussion while the others did their own thing.  Men of enterprise and moment. He respected that. He also respected Richard for claiming a gut instinct on CD, even though there was essentially no foundation for it. 

Anyone who knows me knows two things. 1) I feel very sad about not having PMs to talk everyone's ear off  2) I hate D1 votes. No one has any information, and most of the votes are poke votes that are retracted the moment the poked says something. A bandwagon might appear, and then there's even less information on voting motives. There's also no voting manipulation, so there's no information coming from there either. Still. I acknowledge the sense in needing something to happen to actually have stuff to discuss, and if the cycle looks to be ending without much of a consensus am willing to jump votes to kill someone.

I enjoy making big analysis posts, but I find it hard to find things to talk about on D1. I like Hoidslayer, Twinstorm, and Penguin a little more for trying to stir up discussion and poke votes. Pizzaguy and Polly have been posting a lot of RP, which isn't inherently suspicious, but also not particularly helpful. I don't begrudge them that, yet.

As I said, bunch of poke votes with little substance. The only thing that really jumps out to me is CD jumping on the Striker vote without a reason other than Hoidslayer's vote, but again, D1. 

Striker and Booknewt have not posted. Aeternum and TheUnknownOrder have popped up a bunch of times in thread but haven't contributed much either beyond a couple of rule clarifications. For now, I'm going to poke @The Unknown Order You've got no PMs to convince me of your alignment this time so you gotta speak in thread, buddy

In terms of game-related talk, this is strange to me. Why not share your suspicions, Aeternum, even at the early stages? Who are you side-eying? Who looks village to you?
