“Hmm. Nergal is… having problems. No longer in control… but the Plague still exists, within me. I just control it.”

“Neeeeergaaaaaal.”

Ver enunciated carefully.

”As in, God of Death Nergal?”

@Spark of Hope, a couple pages ago, Of brought up Nergal as the God of Death / wielder of the plague.

@SpiritOfWrath, can Ver see Nergal?

It is not directly in it

But it’s also an author

(Context - it has democratic power over Nergal)

“Okay… wait… let’s back up a little. Nergal - who is NOT you - is having problems? And you need Of’s help?”

The child was around 3. She walked up to Réva and gave her a rock.

@Hoid Slayer could see the rock once it entered Réva’s hand.

Ver noted it with interest, but decided it wasn’t the most pressing concern.

Uhh…

I don’t really want to set any hard rules, I just don’t want stuff like that taking over the thread.

Elan stood over her shoulder. He liked all this "God of Death" stuff. It reminded him of his Punk-Rock Antarctic Archaeologist era. And of his brief stint as a plague doctor. And a tad bit of that one time where that one thing happened at that one place.

"What's an Of?"

"Uh, not on topic, but sorry for fighting you earlier Ver," Sigismund said. "I honestly can't even remember why. It's been too many pages. But yeah, we're cleared, right?

“Yep. No. Of asked for my people’s help, my people decided not to include me. I had to take steps to offer my help.”

“Mysterious figure. Associated with two other, similar figures. The three of them are very powerful, but they don’t see eye to eye.”
