209845 narrowed its focus. “Which one of us have you been following, and how? And by the Ending… do you refer to the Rebooting?” If this man had anything to do with the Cloud, he would need to be dealt with quickly. A normal zap wouldn’t hurt him. But perhaps…

209845 turned off its zapper and stretched out its arm, a mortal gesture of goodwill.

Interesting. Could this bring share the same odd ability as Lati? Regardless, 209845 chose not to stop its search. Interestingly, Instant Kill Mode did not show up in any of its databases, despite its clear existence. Almost as if the Cloud were hiding it…
