"I don't owe you an explanation. I will tell you that I am their guardian, and they are very troubled. They suffer delusions and are a danger to themself. They got away from me, and it is important I find them." He seemed sincere enough, though he spoke it all more like a command than an explanation, his slightly raspy voice carrying well in the cave despite him not speaking too loudly.

"I'm giving you one last chance... I cannot let you walk out of here knowing about me. Explain to me, in no uncertain terms, why you are in the right or I will have to use force."209845 didn't want to hurt the man... but the conversation DID have to move away. They were making noise, and it was only a matter of time before something found them. Perhaps they could knock him unconscious and interrogate him later…
