Okay, quick plot recap thus far:

This world (called Açila) has been supposedly overrun by “viruses” and is being “rebooted” by the “Cloud”, a reality protecting force that is sort of evil, an act that involves killing everyone on the world. The party is made up of 209845 (me) an agent of the Cloud that has recently discovered beauty in the world and begun to “rebel” against the Cloud, Jidah, an Immortal-goddess-turned-mortal trying to get off world, Owen, a human from this world who is on some sort of quest, Lati, the aforementioned disembodied voice, Reva, a mysterious multiversal and apparently promiscuous woman, a weird fox-deity that is friends with Jidah, Spirit of Wrath, and Rhyme, a mysterious woman we know almost nothing about (and there was also a magician that joined at some point). Dang, that sentence was long.

Right now, Jidah, with the help of the fox, has made contact with a local sun god with the hopes of finding a way to regain her immortality and get off world. As the interaction goes on, 209845 sort of accidentally led the Cloud to their position and they are on their way.

I will update the story tomorrow morning, right now I’m just tired and need to sleep.

Jidah feels that warm presence feed into her mind information. It's not something that requires directions- he found it with absolution of his sins, for he was a cruel god. His rebellion against his own essence as day-bringer is what threw him from the heavens.

Jidah frowned. “I’m not cruel…”

That isn't for her to decide. She must learn what she did wrong first, in order to fix it.

The Sun, Blinked. The world went black for a moment, and a penitent, thoughtful silence stretched into 209845's mind. Two options were presented. Destruction. Misdirection. The wrath of a god destroying these Viriulent beings. Or a bright light, blinding those that come- which world do they need to destroy? They'll never know.

@Hoid_Slayer

The idea was ridiculous to her. She couldn’t think of a single thing she’d ever done wrong.

No. No, it didn't understand. They were already here. And they could not be destroyed. All beings existed in harmony with the Web; mortals lived alongside it, blissfully unaware of its constant machinations. Deities navigated it, pulling at its strings to create enormous results. The Cloud controlled it. Its very existence was tied to the Framework, and it was able to bend reality at its will with enough time. Nothing could harm it, for it would always regenerate. No God could stop that.

Through its bond, 209845 could sense the Cloud drawing closer. They were almost here. If it was to find a way to protect the beauty of this world from the inevitable rebooting process, it needed more time. And so an idea was born.

209845 transmitted a new message to the Sun. First, it presented, in a simple way, the infinitely intricate web of bonds that connected its existence to the Cloud. These bonds could never be broken, lest 209845 cease to exist. But they could be blinded. In the vision, 209845 directed the Sun's light at the bonds, obscuring their location from those who were hunting them. This would allow them to escape without being followed, perhaps buy them enough time to come up with a solution.

This could be done, 209845 knew. Dazh could blind and misdirect. He has done it before, and will do it again.

Everyone does things wrong, she knows in the deepest recess of her mind. A gap forms, gnawing away at her pride.

… by “this”, what are you referring to? Because if you’re referring to blinding the connection between 209845 and the Cloud, yes, that can be done, but you can’t hide the world, the Cloud is already on it.

“Stop it! Stop. Don’t change me!” She shrieked.

Is she changing? Or are her flaws being revealed, by the light of day?

She clawed at her hair. "GET OUT!"

Sigismund appears in this massive vision to see a goddess clawing at her while the sun god stares her down. The sun is supprised, he knows.

K, I’m gonna go with the connection blinding

Yes… yes, it could be done. Quickly, it transmitted a single message to the Sun:

PLEASE

Once again, it transmitted the images of the bond being severed, hoping the Sun would receive the message and comply. That done, they would be able to communicate more calmly.

209845 had been wondering when the wizard would once again make his presence known.

The sword disappeared, because Jidah was petty.
