• 9:30pm Meet for Caroling Session #1 in Hall 4 just outside of the Book Distribution area.
• 9:45pm Sandersonian Filk Caroling Session #1 at Book Distribution

Friday 12/6/2024

• 9:00am Breakfast at Eggsburgh
• 11:15am Meet for Caroling Session #2 at the 17s Booth
• 11:30am Sandersonian Filk Caroling Session #2
• 12:30pm Caroling Photo with Santa photo at 12:50p

Saturday 12/7/2024

• 4:00pm Meet @ South Temple Entrance for Boba Guru
• 7:45pm Hoid Jam Session at the Komashi Meet-up Area (Music by the Hoid Trio)
• 8:45pm Harmony’s Nexus at the Komashi Meet-up Area Filk music and pizza

I have two pie-in-the-sky predictions for it.
 

1. Pat Rothfuss shows up out of nowhere and announced he's done with book 3 of Kingkiller.

2. The Unannounced Universes Beyond MTG set for next winter is a Cosmere set.  They announce it at the Welcome Ceremony/Release Party, and show off the cards and mechanics at the *REDACTED* panel.

 

Not sure which is more likely of the two...

I will be there.  I am thinking of doing a cosplay as Professor Fitch because why not cosplay as a non-Cosmere Character at a Stormlight Release

I jokingly said Winds of Winter announcement in another thread.  Some sort of MTG collab is a good guess.

I'm going! I'll be heading up on Wednesday. I was fortunate enough to get a VIP ticket, but that's where my luck ran out lol. No lightning signing and no live novella event thingy. (It sold out while I was at work...but honestly I don't mind, so long as the food is sold elsewhere during the event.)

Hey all! We posted this on the discord but I thought I'd share it here as well. If you're coming to Dragonsteel Nexus this year, and there's a specific 17th Shard staff member you want to meet, many of us have fixed times when we'll each be at the 17th Shard booth in the exhibitor hall!
