Alari chugs the rest of his water bottle, then begins walking into the hills to the east. He walks stealthily, creeping between hills and never walking over a hill carelessly, always peeking slowly.

@Lord Spirit @RoyalBeeMage are you still in the eastern hills?

Alari decides not to go into the hills, seeing signs of people being there before. (Since some people actually were!)

Then, he thinks about that 'squid thing, and his talent (Which gives him random facts and a good memory)

Maybe tells him something, if the squid thing is a animal that exists and not a one-of-a kind monster.

"Is it above us, below us, or near us?" She asked nervously, holding her hands up against the tunnel walls to feel for vibrations.

She stood up, "I think if it's a living creature, it's coming closer. If it's an earthquake... we're screwed. We need to get out before the tunnel starts collapsing."

It rumbles more and then a giant claw sticks out of the ground in front of them, as if a giant ground hog has just appear. It starts to pick up the earth, sniffing.

His head pokes out, starting to crowd up the giant tunnel. He has green eyes with a Roman numeral four to replace his pupil. He eyes them, starting to come towards them, snickering and clicking.

The entire east side can hear the rumbling of the groundhogs steps. It’s probably best to leave the area…

The groundhog stomps down the tunnel, clicking loudly. It’s almost as if it’s speaking. “My tunnel my tunnel my tunnel my tunnel….”

Jane started shaking. She stopped in her tracks, looking at Aaron and back at the direction where the groundhog had been.

"I can outrun it, right?" she asked in a high voice, mainly to reassure herself.

Then, she broke out into a run.

Once I get far enough, I'll dig out.

Once I get far enough, I'll be free.

Once I get far enough, I'll figure something out.

Once I get far enough, I'll see light.

Once I get far enough.

So I just need to keep working.

Keep pushing.

A little more.

A little farther.
