Granted, @Aeoliae has to deal with a plot of evil that sends them on a long happy quest. After the happy life together, however, they both die in eacother's arms. Then @Aeoliae wakes up. The DVD logo just happens to also hit the corner.

I wish for the power to make badly written books turned into a well-written book with the same plot and characters with a snap of my fingers.

Granted. The nightwatcher gives you a strange gemstone and tell you to swallow it. After you swallow it, you realize you have bonded yelig-nar, the blightwind, and you can now use all surges, including the surge of motivation. That's the bane. You can write brilliantly, but you are constantly having to appease Yelig-nar.
