[Madagascar]

Well, menace Ventyl with this here tiny lightsaber (which totally isn’t a boozy cocktail drink umbrella with a glowy light glued on the top) I vote. Point blank refuse to try a death stick, he has. “Go home and rethink your life,” he said. Bad at partying he is, and participating he is not. Hurt, my feelings are!

Guess Ill have to self medicate with some death sticks….

Ties can be usefull, but I have started leaning against them. And of the two, Szeth seems suspicious to me. (JNV)

It's the little things, like not wanting to double up on a poke vote, when that is a way to produce more activity. Because I agree with Fifth's point, I don't feel threatened if I don't have the most votes. Heck, even part of the time I don't feel threatened when I have the most votes. Though that usually is when I have the most further away from EoD not when it's ten minutes to EoD. Also the joking about being Desann, which could be fake, but I don't know if Szeth is that kind of player.

I’d be careful giving village points to someone for knowing a detail about elim mechanics that we all missed :P. I guess you could say that xino didn’t have to point that out, which would be fair I suppose.

xino’s original tally had us voting for Madagascar, but it was on the same line as the Szeth votes.

Szeth’s use of poke votes has been weird, but I don’t really see that as evil per se. A situation where he voted and then quickly hopped off (like xino, actually) could be e/e but I kinda doubt xino/Szeth is e/e here  Just based on their interactions, the way the votes were moving, etc.

Between the two I’d vote xino I think since he really didn’t show up until he was threatened but once he was threatened he showed up immediately. I’ll refrain from doing that right now though since I don’t really love the option.

Don’t love Madagascar either though, he responded to my pressure by not responding to it which is ? to me. There’s some potential for the xino/Szeth trains to have sprung up to save him but idk if that timing works. Also don’t want to kill a returning player D1 :P. So that vote will eventually move in all likelihood.

Strongest village read at the moment would be Fadran, actually— he to me reads like someone who has his own agenda and no known teammates, he feels like he’s doing his own thing in a v type way. I totally buy the reason he voted Szeth :P.

Further clarifications (sorry about the format, have a draft to finish):

• Force Dominate does not require the target to have voted. Unlike the Jedi, the Disciples of Ragnos are not weak.
• A Desann Reborn using Force Drain can indeed be redirected onto themselves, effectively draining themselves to death. You can thank the Stack for this.

I guess Madagascar feels a tad more suspicious to me than Xino rn. It feels like they’re super active, but are almost exclusively doing rp. That’s fine, b/c it’s D1, but it’s still a little suspicious.

If you get time, I would appreciate your elaborating on this. You and Fadran’s interactions across the cycle have felt incredibly weird throughout my reread of the thread—it’s one of the most consistent things I’ve noted—and I’d like to know where you’re getting this impression. He’s felt rather opportunistic to me. (As have many of the Szeth voters.)

@Devotary of Spontaneity Since I never got back to you earlier—I think more apprentices is fine as long as the apprentices aren’t obvious about giving names and speech patterns away in the doc. It’s pseudonymic, so I’d actively encourage anyone recruited, if the Jedi end up going that route, to actively lie about and/or obfuscate their identity, so that a Sith entering the doc would have to work for their meal. But expanding powers to the rest of the village is good, I think, since it gives more cover to the Jedi. Also I may or may not want cool powers (this statement is not meant to imply I do not have cool powers already (restrictions may apply, void where prohibited, call 1-888-CYA-STET for less information))

Between Szeth and Xino I still want Xino dead, though I don’t know if Szeth’s weird flip-floppy hesitance to shrek him reflects badly on Xino or on Szeth. It might be a bit of both. Right now I find both Mad and the Mad train a little weird, but I don’t want her dead both because she’s returning and because I feel her death would yield less information than either Szeth’s or Xino’s. Finally, I kind of want to issue a blanket condemnation of all the random poke voters and let them know that they’re on my radar

Edit: Just saw your point on Fadran, and I disagree with him being opportunistic— he had a poke vote on me and then a vote on Szeth cause xino’s his pal. Neither of those votes are like, great or anything, but intention wise I think they’re what he says they are. That’s some gut from knowing him outside of SE, and otherwise just tone reading. But if you think e!me reads a teammate as my only decent D1 village read you don’t know my elim meta :P.

Hmm, okay. I guess neither of the votes were really necessary. I got an opposite tone read, though, which is probably why I was struggling with it
