Nayka: whimpers “I didn’t steal anything… I didn’t!”

Woman: shakes her head irritatedly

Kealie sits up “Wow… that was crazy…” bolts up “WHERE’S EEJ? EEJ!”

The vines by Vance’s boot streak back to Kealie and cling to her leg. Kealie grabs a vine with her hand, relieved. “Thanks, Quest.”

This was a  difficult situation . . . who was telling the truth??

"um . . . okay, so you didn't steal anything."

"What do you think she stole? you mentioned she had stolen things before?" Whist asked the women, who was probably some kind of officer. It was a good thing this women was humoring her, instead of ignoring her and just dragging the girl away.

Then again that was probably because she suspected Whist was an accomplice of some kind.

The woman pursed her lips. “Classified.” She spun Nayka around and grabbed both her shoulders, looking into her eyes. “You’re not fooling anybody. Where is it?”

Nayka, looking terrified, stammered, “I… I…” She glanced to Whist as if to plead for an escape, a way out.

I was indeed. To keep track of things and write pretty, keep things separated by quotes (for example, you reply to Justice by quoting them and then reply to me by quoting me) or by a page break (which are things that exist on the browser version, anyways).

Anyways.

"I got it stunned for now," Vance explained, keeping to his stance. "Try not to provoke it for now. Do you have any cool magical powers other than summoning arrows that could help us here?"

Okay, getting information was a bust. Time for plan B, which was decidedly more risky.

In grabbing the girl, the Officer had put her back to Whist.

Taking a deep breath, Whist did something that was definitely illegal.

She grabbed her long white staff from were it had been strapped to her back, and smacked the woman sharply on the side of her head.

It hit hard, and she fell to the ground unconscious. Unconscious, but thankfully not dead.

Helping Fiadh to stand up, she turned to the girl, "Lets go."

“I do not summon arrows. I believe they should be there, and if I can do that—you know what? Never mind. And no, not really. Besides Eej, but he’s kind of useless.” Kealie stabbed the rabbits foot again.

"Can you summon rope? Or a really big bear trap?"

“Would ANYBODY leave a rope just lying around? I mean, seriously. I have to believe it for it to be true.” Kealie paused. “Besides, I’m almost out of juice. Do you realize that changing a monster into a bunny is very depleting? It’s an organism. Organisms are hard.” That’s not very nice, she berated herself. “Sorry, I get cranky when I’m tired. Say, do you have a rope with you? Maybe one you forgot?”

I like this Whist.

Whist glanced around, and spotted a small alleyway, its entrance mostly covered by cargo boxes. It would have to work for now. Besides, pursuers would expect them to try to go far, right?

"Over there," she said pointing to the alley. The sun had begun setting  a few moments ago, and due to the coming of night, the area had mostly cleared of people. No one had seen her strike the officer, but it was only a matter of time before someone came down the street and discovered the body.

"Whatever. We just need to finish this thing off before it starts rampaging through the town." Vance almost fell out of stance, knees wobbling a little. "Agh... but that last blow really took it out of me."

“Look. And. See. Wouldn’t it be ironic if you forgot you had rope? You’re the kind of person who would never go anywhere without rope. Look, please?”

Then again, only a tiny rope could be concealed like that… STOP THINKING. BIG ROPE.

"Good idea."' Whist said. It hadn't even crossed her mind.

Believe it or not, she didn't end up in many situations where she had to worry about a body.

Whist glanced around again. If they took the officer with them, they could get into some serious trouble.

Then again she had just assaulted someone.

"yes, I guess we should bring her, can you drag her maybe?" The alley wasn't very far from where they were standing, and Whist needed to help Fiadh walk.

[I'm assuming that Fiadh is coming with us, @InfiniteInsanity, please say something if you have any objections, I'm sorry things progressed without you]

@The Bookwyrm, I'm also assuming that your character and the person you were talking with have moved on to another area on the docks, I hope that's okay]

[Also I have to leave for tonight, its been a pleasure RPing with you today @The Halcyon Girl]

Quest sat up, finishing his torment. He straighten his glasses and got to his feet.

"That was awful" Quest thought, "I certainly will never going to eat questionable berries again.....unless they look interesting....or I really really want to."

Satisfied with his commitment, Quest began to wander back to the others. This has been quite the interesting day, he had classified a bush, made some very interesting acquaintances, experienced extreme vomiting and helped conquered a death bunny. It is all about finding the simple pleasures in life.

Whistling, Quest made his way into the clearing. It was quite destroyed by the all fighting and there was a small fire had seemed to have started on a sapling. The others seemed to have subdued the death bunny and were standing over it; the stabby fellow was looking down at a pile of rope and the vine girl was impaling the bunny's foot with an arrow. An interesting scene.

Quest spoke, "Hello again, how is our furry friend?"

Sure, I'll RP with you. Let me know how I should start.

Name: Antin

Race: Human

Gender/Pronons/Otherapplicablethingsthatgohere: Male, demiromantic

Magic: Void/Vacuum

Personality: All over the place, unrestrained type. Difficulty concentrating, but still reasonably intelligent. Very kind. This may evolve as I go.

Backstory: Home area TBD. As a human, he was relatively poor growing up and was generally looked down upon not only for his race, but for his lack of typical magical ability. He never recieved a formal education.

Other: As a result of his wayward magic, his skin is a stark white, while his eyes, lips, blood, etc. are entirely pitch-black. Typically dressed in a grey cloak, contributing to his overall unsettling monotone appearance.

As Annamus trudges forward, club over one shoulder, he appears out of the dust. Fully covered armor, his head is square and flat, like a turtle, a wicked looking beak in place of the visor. Annamus slams the front end of the crude club into the ground, hitting with a muffled, "THUMP."

That was heavy, I really should have dragged it behind or left it. Too heavy.

But now I have a weapon if I need it.

Why would I need a weapon? I don't want to kill anyone here.

But you must! They are endangering the forest!

Lyras blinked. While the original purpose of his journey was to find his sister, the Triluminescence had been a factor in his reasoning. All of the Stellari race had a fascination with celestial objects, some (like Lyras) more than others, and their culture back on Asteri was based on that. The Triluminescence was something of great fascination to the Stellari, and so these docks would probably see a lot more Stellari travelers in the coming weeks.

But the Triluminescence wasn't for almost two more months.

"...I suppose you could say that," Lyras finally said. "What do you mean by 'see it up close'?"

"I mean," began the stranger, pausing for dramatic effect, "viewing it from the surface of the moon itself."

This is a fair assumption. Lyras will probably run into them again at some point in the next month and a half...and probably sooner rather than later.

Lyras raised an extremely skeptical eyebrow.

"Which moon? And how would you even get there in the first place?" Lyras knew that the moons had surfaces; he'd it through telescopes at the Academy back home. They clearly had solid surfaces with distinct features. Calia, Celestia, and Volia were worlds with their own terrain and mysteries. But they were also incredibly distant, if the Stellari astronomer's calculations were correct.

And even then, how would you reach them? Any method not involving magic was doomed to fail utterly, and Lyras knew of no spell or ability in any of the various Magics of Tetrapela that would allow anyone to do anything like going to the moons.

“Sure.” Nayka scooped up the officer in her arms and found her lighter than expected, which was good because Nayka didn’t carry people a lot. She managed to get the woman to the alleyway before she gave out and sat back, panting.

Hyron watched the stranger, then narrowed their eyes as the stranger continued to walk away, farther in towards the island.

"Juuno," They said, not taking their eyes off the stranger, "Keep an eye on our friend here. Send a Feenix if he does anything. I'll go and warn the Elders. This stranger may become an issue."

Hyron leaped off the tree, leaving Juuno to watch the stranger, then began the swinging vine technique again, swinging towards the Elders' Domain.

Juuno watched the stranger intently. This was an important job, and he would not let it end badly. Silently, he leaped softly from tree to tree, following the stranger as he walked.

The stranger did not appear to notice.

Whist made her way over to the alley with the girl. She went in a ways, and then crouched behind some larger cargo boxes. Hopefully they would be completely hidden from the street here.

Now time for part 2 of plan B: back to plan A: Getting Information

"Whats your name?" Whist asked the girl.

She wasn't entirely convinced this girl was innocent. She didn't really know what to think.
