I don't know, maybe taldain darkside is also possible? but they have different plants This is centuries in the future going by the technology we see. I am afraid cannons tell us exactly nothing. If anything they point at a primitive and low magic world, as the more advanced worlds are unlikely to have human soldiers walking into battle against actual cannons. I mean we are seeing what for practical purposes are combat robots in the very book. But they of course may have historical novels and history, so they know about cannons even on the advanced worlds. 1
