I think lurchers will become a lot more prevalent once almoantic grenades become more common. Also we shouldn't forget a the variety their non- combat uses are. In a city full of metal an well-trained lurcher can slingshot themselves just as well as any coinshot, a lurcher standing on something metal (such as a train) can anchor themselves better than any skimmer, a lurcher could steal the boxings from right out under your nose before a lesser pickpocket could even close. Let us not forget the greatest feats of the survivor's life included burning Steel and iorn. Iron is a phenominal allomantic metal if you just have the imaginiation for it.

At Jordancon 2026 Brandon had this exchange: This wording is ereily similar to an Advert in "The New Asendacy," Is this where Cultivation ended up? Did she seek asylum from harmony? Or did she sneak into the system?

What is the worst cosmere reading order?
Lesser spren replied to Lesser spren's topic in Cosmere Discussion
I meant it to be just a silly hypothetical, nothing serious. That said, for the worst reading orde,r you have to start with Stormlight 5. It's the end of the series, contains huge spoilers both for Stormlight and for the cosmere as a whole and has complex lore that would utterly baffle the reader without proper context. -
There is a lot of discussion on the reading order that creates the most satisfaction and excitement, while minimizing spoilers and possible misunderstandings. But what reading order could do the opposite: Maximising confusion and spoilers while mimizing character arcs and story impact?

I haven't seen many people talk about the cosmere phenomenon where a creature can not only control another creature's actions but also perceive through their senses as well. This seems to be different than the Nahel bond, but we have seen it for Kandra, Koloss, and to a certain extent Midnight Essence as well. I decided to coin the term Familiarism for it because it is similar to the mechanics for familiars in DND. Are there any examples I missed?

I said this in another thread, but perhaps for the worms to have an effect, they need to be seen by the fauna as part of Patji's ecosystem. Like Zellion was adopted into Canticle. You spend enough time surviving on the island, and you are viewed as part of it, rather than an outsider.

I was checking Coppermind for info about the evil. One section mentioned how several arcanists had luck with overfeeding the entities, but the chapter that line was linked to didn't mention anything about that. Does anyone know which chapter that line this information is mentioned or have any theories as to what happens when an entity is overfed?

What was Harmony the first/only shard to have done?
Lesser spren replied to Limpy's topic in Cosmere Discussion
The answer might be right in front of us, it could be that Sazed was the only living shard to change his own intent, (such as from harmony to discord) -
I asked a similar question before, regarding honorblades and Nightblood, but I was wondering what would happen in the physical realm, if pure anti-investiture came into contact with a soul flame or object spren? Would the turn into black smoke like with nightblood or would somthing else happen?

I have a oneshot that also doubles as a plot hook for a larger campaign. just a heads up I plagiarized a little from TWOK. There are also some Isles of the Emberdark spoilers at the very end as part of the plothook, but you can easily cut that out: https://docs.google.com/document/d/15rhbxsGX_z3CIQ5Jk1PvNZcFPbEoWmnktoZtutTD6Is/edit?usp=sharing

We know things in the physical realm affect objects in the spiritual and to a certain extent vise versa (see: Soulcasting) but I'm not sure we ever saw what happens when invested weapons attempt to destroy shadesmar phenomenon that have counterparts in the physical realm. does anyone know of an example?

Can you Pump a person with investiture using Rayseium?
Lesser spren posted a question in Cosmere Q&A
We know that Rayseium doesn't just suck out investiture. It conducts investiture from one end to another. So what if a human was on the other end? Would it forcefully invest a Radiant or a misting? What if the person were just a normal human without any powers or invested arts? -
Looking at the 17S Code of conduct I don't see any rules specifically about homophobia or transphobia. I suppose you referring to:

Can you define what you mean by policies?

I don't mean to be rude, but when will the banner go back to normal? It has been more than a week since June.

It seems that the general consensus of WAT is that it doesn't hold up to the standard that the previous novels have set. Despite this I feel there a number of really stunning scenes that we pass over while looking in the mixed bag. Nale hearing the story on the Wandersail, Shallan conversing with Mraize on the great shell, at those points the characters really shine through. That said I'd love to hear what parts of the story really made an impression? What about them made them stood out from the rest?

Even in WAT I feel like division is one of the least explored surges. We seen it burn the sky and crumble stone but beyond that I don't see much that make it unique beyond magic fire powers. So I put the question out to you all. What are your Ideas for creative uses for divison? Could a dustbringer create a sticky grenade by combination of divison and abrasion? Could a Skybreaker use his powers to sky write a glyph?
