Just after the destruction of the AlleyCity

Solace attempted to causally walk through the Aonic gate but instead was forced to stumble backwards to avoid falling. That was right. Even though he bore the Ghostblood crest, little Aurell did not. The gates allowed those who bore the Ghostblood symbol entrance to the city. Those who did not were forbidden entrance.

"Exception! Aurell Faine." Solace stated firmly.

"Exception made." The voice stated from a small box.

"It's good to be home." Solace said.

He turned to look and the desert that surrounded the city and where it led up meeting the grass. Yes. It was indeed good to be home.

Visitors are welcome! One must check in to visit inside the city and be accompanied by a squad of both Mistborn and Feruchemists. A person who is not a Ghostblood can stay one day. Exceptions are allowed but one must visit the council buildings to petition for a extra day or settle grievances. The Inner sanctum is off limits to all but Council members.

Fangblade was a Ghostblood. He should be allowed to enter the gate, shouldn't he?

An Invested who practically rank of Harmony and some others with the powers of Preservation had to escort him though. He didn't mind that much, but still growled and made coins hover about him when one of the Invested got too close.

Eventually, he was brought into this 'Oasis City.'

Fangblade wandered the streets, but nobody was around, yet. He hoped to see the Alpha, Mraize, but could not smell nor see nor hear him anywhere.

I don't think that Damaya has ever been to the city. It doesn't fit with her background. But can she move here, when her forster-parents stuff is solved? I guess she will need a new home then.

And a general question to the entrance: what happends to the children born there? Do they directly become the crest, or are they made exceptions until they are old enough to actively choose the Ghostbloods?

So we figured we could use this thread for a little hint at guild development ;)

They met in darkness. They had been called to Oasis City, called by the Council they all swore to follow. Called to hear what they were expected to do. Dark figures with long cloaks, hoods drawn deep into the faces, masks covering whatever was left. They were like shadows lurking in the night, avoiding the light to fulfill their plans. Only candles lightened the room, casting flickering shadows about the cloaks, the masks. Soft whispers filled the room, while they all waited for the council to appear.

The room fell silent, when they stepped into the free space left for them. Their steps were firm and strong, heads held high in determination. Everything was quiet for a minute, then the man in the middle started to speak.

A rumor followed his words, spread through the assembled. Then they fell silent again listening. They listened to the vision of the council, listened to their plan for the future. New exclamations erupted now and then, but most were struck by what the Council presented them. In the end, they all bowed their knees, swore their fealty and their loyalty to their new leader. They would follow him and they would make sure his vision about the Ghostblood's future would become reality.

The Ghostbloods had overcome several cases of the plague and they had reformed. They had changed their council and they had handed out new tasks. They are of Dominion and Devotion and they had a goal.

It was among the group. It was in the council. It had the tattoo to prove it.

Third of the Night swore fealty to the new leaders. The Ghostbloods were no longer what they had once been, and the City of Oasis- the new Ghostblood base of operations, a few miles south of the Alleycity, in the mountains, by the small harbor- would solidify their power.

Althea swore fealty to her new leader, accepting her new assignment with grace. The council looked great, as they were standing behind him. Less work behind the scenes, more interaction with people. She trusted the council and their decision, but still felt a pang of disappointment. She had liked what she had worked on before.

Hellbent stood on the platform. It feels good to be back in my old body. The only difference? I'm MUCH stronger. He looked down at Oasis City. It had recently been revived, through the efforts of the Ghostbloods Hospitality Division. His other body, Mists, was in a fight, but with some tech, he could use two. He reached into his pocket, pulling out a phone. That phone was not a normal phone. It was a Council Phone. Opening the special app, he put in the three passwords, imprinted his fingerprint, had his eyescanned, his spiritweb scanned, and a voice recognition. The others were mostly backups, and decoys, the spiritweb mattered most. He then clicked the button. All Ghostbloods could now hear his voice, through a special piece of investiture. His tatoo began glowing, red. He had called a level 10, an impossible to ignore command to Oasis City.

Speaking, he knew, all Ghostbloods would hear, not just the ones in Oasis City.

"GHOSTBLOODS! THE TIME HAS COME THAT WE STAND, AND FIGHT! SOLACE HAS MOUNTED A COMMAND, TRYING TO TAKE BACK THE GHOSTBLOODS! HIS PRESENCE IS NOT WELCOME, AND WE NEED YOUR AID! SADLY, SOME OF OUR OWN HAVE ALREADY FALLEN! BUT NOW, THE RIGHTHAND WILL HAVE A SPEECH, AND WE WILL ASSESS DAMAGE!"

People began to flow into the square, all the Ghostbloods in Oasis, and many with teleportation. Inquisitors, Dahkor Monks, Radiants. They all came. An event like this was one of a lifetime, a division in the most powerful guild in existence. Yes, they would all come, even if it weren't for the level 10.

Mr Amber’s signature black car appeared in a flash and drove up to the platform. Mr Amber got out and walked over to Hellbent, shrinking the car and stowing it away as usual. “We are finally taking a stand. It will be good to work with you again Hellbent.”

Distantly, the sound of the DA's reserve lawyers also beginning to start writing out their own lawsuits could be heard.

Hellbent smiled.

"Yes. Just like the good old days, though no Singers are involved this time."

Ambrosia appeared in the courtyard. She put away the gemheart quickly, smiling. A new war. And politics... politics I can do.

A gateway opened, and, as usual, two figures stepped out.

Dwig smiled, it was good to be fighting again.

He strode up to Hellbent and saluted.

"Hello sir, most of G.U.E.S.S is still mobilizing, but most of the officers are here"

As he was talking, two massive G.U.E.S.S ships flew out of Alleyspace rifts above.

~~~
A black outline of a man began to form on the platform, holding a massive sword point down in front of him. Rick snapped into exsistence and pulled the Tenth Blade out of the ground.
"So, is it too early to switch sides?" He laughed "No... It's never too early"
Hellbent smiled at Dwig.
"Thank you Dwig. Your help is always appreciated. Be warned, the war could still start up again at any moment."
Aeodin materialized in the square.  Beside him, Valdwen also materialized, Aeodin having drawn Aon Tia for him.  Valdwen looked about suspiciously before muttering,
"Where is Solace?  We need him.  Follow me Aeodin."
They wove through the crowd.  Valdwen could taste it, a war was brewing.  If only they could avoid notice of the senior member called 'Hellbent'.
"Maybe following Solace isn't such a good idea" Aeodin muttered nervously.
"He will retake the ghostbloods Aeodin, I can't have you betray me.  Not now." Answered Valdwen.
As they the went in search of Solace...
Dwig nodded,
"Luckily, sir, our spies are reporting that Dusk and most of his army have gone underground and waiting for us to find them."
G.U.E.S.S. is the elite Ghostblood fighting force. Ghostbloods Underground Elite... something. We are more powerful then Mraize, more powerful by far.
Ahh...
Valdwen approached Dwig, no outward signs of nervousness.
"Hello, I would definitely like to side with G.U.E.S.S."
"Hope it's not too late to switch sides."  Aeodin interjected nervously.
Althea walked over to Hellbent and Mr Amber and smiled at them shortly, before she focused her eyes on the place where the Righthand would appear soon. Her fingers tapped a few buttons, signaling them to begin.
================================================================
The figure waited in The Shadow, observed them all arrive. They watched those gathering, listened to their whispers and their rumors. Or at least that's what you could imagine, since it didn't really move or show any display of an emotion. Dark times were approaching, a storm was about to break loose. They waited until the signal and then stepped forward, hood drawn low, a mask obscuring the face. Their voice would be projected over the city, for everybody to hear.
"Welcome. I welcome you here in Oasis City, fellow brothers and sisters. I am here to speak to you on behalf of the council. We called you here to inform you of our decision regarding the one we call Solace and his challenge to the leadership. I can assure you, we don't take this situation lightly, nor was it an easy decision for us to make. We all swore to follow the Ghostbloods and their leader and work hard to see the Ghostbloods rise to new glory."
The figure paused, looked over those that had followed the call.
"But before I tell you officially, which path we decided to take, let me state two things first.
One: We don't want this to end in a war between our members. We plan to try to find a solution that doesn't involve that.
Two: Those that want to stay neutral, can stay neutral. We can't promise you, that you won't have to decide one day, but we decided to respect that decision for now."
Another pause.
"If you have any questions regarding our decision you may ask them, although I won't promise an answer right now. That depends on what you want to know.
We, the council, sadly with one exception, decided to follow our current leader."
Valdwen shook his head slowly, it was hardly a surprise.
"Solace is outnumbered three to one." Aeodin pointed out.
"Yes," Said Valdwen, Eyeing Hellbent, "Come Aeodin"
“One exception?” A voice called out. The young Ghostblood was a recent recruit, recent enough not to know any better than to call out at the Righthand of the Ghostbloods themselves.
“You mean, out of your Council, the most highly trusted members of our organisation, you mean out of them, one of them just betrayed you for Solace? Who would this blasphemer be?!” A small mob of people surrounding the Ghostblood murmured in ageeement.
