The Greatest Idea in the History of Ideas!
Fatebreaker replied to TwiLyghtSansSparkles's topic in General Brandon Discussion
I would take a class on surgebinding physics, cosmere biology(the section on kandra would be interesting), and the economics of allomancy. -
It would explain why they lack focus when they first come to the world. They're coming off a lifelong sugar high.

At first I'd say either Skybreakers or Dustbringers, simply because of the surge of destruction. While Windrunners would be close, they'd also have to deal with the moral quandary of killing their fellow Knights Radiant, whereas I think the Skybreakers would justify the slaughter as necessary according to the law or some such. However, in a real civil war it is unlikely that it would be every order for itself and as such alliances would be formed. While other orders might easily form "bonds" with others, Skybreakers are probably the most distrustful Order of the lot, and would most likely become isolated quickly. That said, there is a new Skybreaker in town who wields a weapon of unparalleled destruction, so I'm gonna haf'ta stick with Skybreakers.

Favourite Obscure/Side Characters in the Cosmere
Fatebreaker replied to Iredomi's topic in General Brandon Discussion
Lift was "Awesome" -
Wayne: Even my anti-logic talisman can't stop you from makin' sense for my future. Steris: An alliance between us is economically advisable. Zane: Being with you makes the voices go away. A Purelaker: I'd let you catch me any day.

The "Wit"-iest Character in the Cosmere
Fatebreaker replied to Fatebreaker's topic in General Brandon Discussion
I think it would be more about the attitude. -
When Shallan finds out who killed Helaran.

The Stick will tell her. The Stick knows all... -
I'm sure this has already been posted, but who do you think is the wittiest character in the Cosmere? I'd have to say Hoid, especially as Wit. Though I believe Wayne comes close, but not always intentionally, which is part of the fun.

Hmm, it's a huge toss-up between Skybreakers and Edgedancers. Flying is excellent, but it seems that friction could be used alot more discreetly and in a somewhat more versatile manner. But either way, the surge of destruction just sounds awesome.

Lift's ability to turn food into stormlight. It left me in awe. The ultimate power. Edit: Also "Because your god favors boldness." was huge -
Your favorite character from first Trilogy

Marsh. Because he's a badass. Kelsier. Because he's hilarious and a badass. Hoid. Because he's there. -
Slider. All sorts of possibilities for messing with people. And not all of those legal...

Why (I think) that Kaladin is a better hero than Dalinar
Fatebreaker replied to Patrick Star's topic in Stormlight Archive
Not the same. While flying is undeniably awesome, it's not the same as the hero riding into battle on a magnificent steed. Just look at the precedents: Gandalf, George Washington, Peter Pevensie, Aragorn son of Arathorn, the list goes on and on. -
Thinking about hemalurgy for too long makes my face hurt. Another serious concern is how you'd often you would set off metal detectors, or how you would "ruin" any pillow you tried to use.

Shardplate as a living creature
Fatebreaker replied to Fifth of Daybreak's topic in Stormlight Archive
Living Shardplate is an interesting theory. I could see it being similar to coral, in that it's one cohesive unit formed by uniting countless minuscule organisms, or in this case tiny spren. I'm fairly sure this isn't accurate, but I find it an interesting concept. -

I hate to correct someone on their own thread, but it's Szeth, not Sazeth.- 18 replies

Now Shallan and Stick, that's what I'm rooting for.

That would be wierd, seeing as he's waaay older than her. I know we don't have a confirmed age for our "witty" world hopper(ba-dum-tisssh), but I'm pretty sure he was around before her grampa.

Doesn't that automatically grant him more hero points? -

I don't think OreSeur or TenSoon would approve. Being a child's pet is probably worse than having fleas.- 91 replies
