  1. Yeah but it heals everything so even if it gets infected, meh, healed.
  2. How much Stormlight does Soulcasting use? IIRC Jasnah broke a large gemstone just Soulcasting a rock. If all the Knights had the same amount of Stormlight the Elsecaller would runout without having done that much damage. In terms of Stormlight consumption, I believe that a Edgedancer would definately be up there. Progression would surely be more efficient at Healing than Stormlight, then just slipperdy slide all over the place waving their Blade around and just outlast everyone else. Without seeing Cohesion, Tension or Division. ( Probably the most powerful ) I don't think the other Surges have the Stormlight efficiency.
  3. I could see in Adolin's future, him going off the deep end and being brought back by a relationship with Shallan ( they have both committed murder in the name of family ). At the same time have Kaladin take a hold of Ehlokar and have him teach him how to look after people and teach him, with Dalinar, how to lead. Leaving Dalinar free to die at the end of book 4 or part way into book 5, at which point Ehlokar comes into his own as a Bondsmith, taking over Dalinar's place. Or vice-versa. Then when Adolin becomes 'good' again he is forced by Dalinar's death to start emulating him in Honor of his name, thus allowing himself to restore his Shardblade, which would be an awesome way to end Adolin's arc for the first lot of books then when it's his book it gives us something to look forward to as we would all want to know how awesome he became as a Dustbringer. ( pretty sure he gets his own book )
  4. Yeah, as soon as the enemy has same level weapons ( weapons that can block them. ) sword and spear are really the best weapon, without prior training.
  5. @DeployParachute: what I meant was that she is not looking for love. She just admitted to killing her father which is going to take a long time to even begin to heal, let alone heal. Therefore she doesn't want someone who can love her but someone who can provide immediate political and financial stability for herself and her family, admittedly she is on the way to doing that herself but I believe that Adolin would be more reliable and quicker than herself. Even if she doesn't commit to the relationship within the next few books, I believe that she will keep her options open and in doing so will see how good Adolin would be for her. He will be someone she can tell her secrets to and who will keep her confidence whilst also understanding the reasons behind her action. He basically did the same thing as her with Sadeas, killed to keep his family safe, I believe he will tell her about that first giving her a reason to divulge her own secrets causing a bond to form between them. Kaladin on the other hand provides no such stability, and he would also fail as an emotional support. He is still to closed minded about Lighteyes and he isn't very empathetic towards others. He is quite selfish in that regard. Every time something happens to him he instantly blames others, as though everyone is out to get him and him alone ( example anytime he talks in meetings and they look at him because a bodyguard should gaurd not talk, he thinks 'boo-hoo it's because I'm a DARKEYES isn't it.' Then when he gets imprisoned same thing, ' I didn't do anything wrong, it's because they are oppressing me!' ) So no, I don't believe she will develop a relationship for 'love' but for stability, which will develop into an emotional bond and later love. All with Adolin. If Adolin ever turns 'evil' I believe that Shallan will bring him back on track with a declaration of love/marriage. Sorry if it's rambly.
  6. Yeah with that, a ball on the end then helicopter it. Assuming Spren weapons obey some laws of physics. Stormlight would negate any effects of spinning plus allow the Knight to spin faster. Wow, that would be devastating, the enemy would fall in the thousands.
  7. At moogle: Get some lashings going and you have the most awesome game of bowling in the world.
  8. Did you mean a chain mace ( handle, chain, ball. What Sauron uses ) or a spiked chain ( no handle, chain with spikes, ball. ) if the latter then just helicopter it and absolutely own with it. Even the former would wreck people but I'd say that a sword would be more effective than a chain mace. Without substantial training at least. This would at least be my experience having trained with a spiked chain, chain mace, mace, sword, short and long spear. Not for long but enough to judge which weapons are the best. For me at least.
  9. Hoid. If a Steel Inquisitor Burned Aluminum, would that get rid of his Spikes? Edit: Added the question
  10. True, he wouldn't have thought about collecting them because he thought TLR's stockpile was in the city somewhere.
  11. Where do your gods reside? Because if your gods can walk the planet then you could have them be restricted to certain areas. For example the god of the forest can only be in the mortal plane in a forest, a god of the ocean that can only be in an ocean, that sort of thing. Or would that not work in your world?
  12. Just doing a big reread starting with Mistborn and noticed something weird. How come Kelsier only left them 6 beads of Atium? Shouldn't he have gotten heaps when he went through and destroyed the Pits of Hathsin? Or did destroying the crystals break the Atium?
  13. Wait, why are you posting this in the NEWCAGO COURT THREAD? Because 'Jesus take the wheel.'
  14. For any sort of computer there needs to be electricity, wearing a Coppermind with an electric current running through it, would be... uncomfortable to say the least. Though to be honest it is similar to a theory I had about the Southern continent using Fabrial like things which had a AI like thing instead of a Spren as the Cognitive aspect.
  15. *grabs both the Kiwis* "You are advised not to repeat this behavior Mr Panda. Steal another kiwi and you will be dealt with accordingly." *takes the Kiwis back to their sanctuary* Edit: because its spelt 'to' not 'ti'
  16. Rioter for me. When people annoy me I'd just alternate their emotions between lust, anger and grief. Eventually they'd go mad.
  17. I was thinking if he Awakened the instrument in the same way he Awakened Nightblood.
  18. True, though Destroy evil is just as vague. what if it was a master musician? Does Feruchemical iron store either the Gravitational or Pressure Surge?
  19. This is the Smurf village stands in direct opposition to the Featherclan. Any who wish to stand against those tricksie fanatics then come to this Smurf village where i can promise that not much in the way of Hemalurgic experimentation will happen. Well there won't be much performed on the Smurfs inhabiting the village. Though I will be exploring the Fourth realm the Realm that they call 'laita' ( elvish for praise, apparently ) where I shall hunt gather terrified willing Upvotes for use in Hemalurgy. Any willing to help are more than welcome This humble abode is my house. If you want one come make one come and make one.
  20. Because that story Swimmingly wrote feature you and Ash ewok aka Ashiok, fighting with the end result of him dying. Ashiok is one of FeatherWriters Feathertips known as a FeatherFarmer.
  21. So long as the Troloss is semi-intelligent or controlled by the Whitespine, which is definitely intelligent, then he should stand a reasonable chance against the Skeletans. So my vote goes to the Troloss, so long as it can use the environment to its advantage.
  22. Could a Soulcaster, with sufficient Stormlight, Soulcast a rock into a living plant/animal?
  23. *rises* "If you wish to ally yourself with the Feathertips you may. But i am only allied to you, for if we do not show a united front then they will try to divide and conquer us."
  24. Fear not!! I shall ask the Googles. I asked the Googles and it answered with Evolution by Stephen Baxter. "In an early science fiction novel, The World Set Free (1914), HG Wells describes a Promethean moment for prehistoric man, when he "blinked at the sun and dreamt that perhaps he might snare it and spear it as it went down to its resting-place amidst the distant hills". Wells saw the dream of snaring the sun as the beginning of man's creative and scientific journey that would culminate in utopia. Stephen Baxter's Evolution also charts the course of human history, but where Wells was content with broad brushstrokes, Baxter gives us a Technicolor panorama of human development, beginning 65 million years ago and ending 500 million years in the future. There's no utopia, but his aim is one Wells would heartily endorse: to breathe life into a scientific theory - evolution by natural selection. The result is a powerful fusion of science and imagination." is that it?
  25. *Walks in to the sound of wicked sick beats* *bows* "your majesty" *rises* "I would like to present this *hands Royal crystal Scepter to Elsa Steelheart* as a token of good faith." *looks around* "Ah, i see the Feathertips have arrived before me. Listen not to them, I and my compatriots have been engaging them in a minor war of no real consequence, but through this conflict I have discovered to my dismay that they are willing to enslave others in their quest to raise their Lady FeatherWriter above all others on this blessed fansite. Whatever they tell you about alliance is a falsehood, they will betray and enslave you at their pleasure. Unless we ally ourselves in the hopes that we will be too big for them to attack." *kneels* "Please your Majesty, grant me the privilege of being your ally in these troubling times." ( Quick question what are the factions and who's in them? )
