  1. Jumping back to the topic for a bit whilst also incorporating the idea of both the come up topics of a bomb and allomantic fibrials... Cadmium Grenade anyone? Freezing your enemies in an instant? All the advantages of the people using Cadmium to bide time (except for Feather's bomb diffusing example), except you yourself are not frozen. Okay, you can go back to your temporal mechanics now
  2. I picked Cadmium. Breathe pure oxygen while storing, then go away and have the ability to hold your breath. Not only that, but storable oxygenation also means storable stamina, meaning I'll be able to function at 100% of my physical ability, something that as an asthmatic I've never been able to do.

If you could recognise metals just by burning iron, then I would say only Iron could recognise metals, not Steel, due to Iron being the Pulling metal.
  4. I feel like 'storm' is the incorrect spelling after all this... Ah, storm it.
  5. I think the Diagram refers to Hoid purely on the fact that Androtagia thinks its Mraize. Not even gonna justify it.
  6. @SmurfAquamarineBodies, upvoted KiManiak for you. My favourite part of this is seeing just how dynamic the cognitive realm could be. We've seen the cognitive realm in the past, but so little was actually done that it almost seemed like we were watching rather than experiencing it. Here we get to have a feel for what it's like: the dangers involved, the way the world works there (junctions), the destination Jasnah finds herself seeking. It's seeming to be less and less Tel'aran'rhiod and more Tron by the second. Definitely looking forward to hearing more from the cognitive realm, because it really is a whole new world *cue Disney*
  7. I will assume inanimate yes, inorganic no (Kandra can't make clothes)
  8. Pretty sure it would leak. Stormlight's incredibly powerful, but it's main drawback is it's loss of efficiency - the leaking.
  9. There's a WoB that the threshold for storing is somewhere around 70%. Sorry I don't have it myself... Never was good at compiling notes
  10. O.O THAT. IS. AWESOME.
  11. Pewter enhances your sense of balance, funnily enough. I would imagine Tin would make you more perceptive of your sense of balance however. Windwhispers are different. You need a separate Tinmind for every sense. If people are under the impression that we have only five senses, people wouldn't try to store more than those five.
  12. So much for life before death, journey before destination
  13. Still think Feruchemy's the best magical system, but I do admit that I get lonely.. And having a magical friend that can travel through walls, only you can see, and can become giant sword on command would be incredibly awesome
  14. No problem I came across the idea when corrected by Tempus himself when it was the metals providing the power (due to an in-book misunderstanding where the characters thought the power came from the metals). If you ever do get to ask Brandon a question, ask him why isn't Renarin a Dustbringer! He fits the divine attributes so much!
  15. Can I get myself a pin? I live in Christchurch, New Zealand. Not particularly bothered about the world knowing where I live as I'd imagine I'd be very different in real life
  16. I would love to be a Windrunner, because the idea of protecting those who cannot protect themselves has a very heroic honour that I would love to live by. Also, flying. Duh. But by my personality... As someone who really connects to Renarin, I have to say I'd probably be Truthwatcher. The divine attributes also fit me that way (even if we don't know how much they fit Renarin, his attributes seem to fit Dustbringer better)
  17. Silver bullets for vampires, gold bullets for Bloodmakers?
  18. Thanks I feel now I probably should've emphasised the whole "Net-Neutral Systems can be powered by Net-Positive System and this is what it means to Compound" but I was a little overcome by the whole Elantrian Feruchemy setup.
  19. I'm perpetually highlighting everything in case there's white text now. Not sure if items are allowed to be brought, but if not: Try and find the best bearings I can and make my way to the nearest kind of civilisation I can. Once there, start accumulating knowledge that would be needed to get around (how the heck would you cook a chull?). After that, try and find a way to get to Stormseat. It'll take a looong time, but that will be the final goal. (or maybe just Kaladin's home if it's closer). Or Kholinar. If I can bring items however: Vroom vroom, motherf------. I hope I can get my hands on an electric car and a few solar panels before I get tossed onto an alien planet. Then armed with van full of technology I start making my way across to the Plains. Hopefully won't encounter any bandits.. That would be awkward at best...
  20. Perfect Has the exact eerie feel that I expected to get...
  21. Well, in the Hero of Ages... Basically you should be fine
  22. Heh. Olaf's a Type Four BioChromatic Entity. Who'd of thought.
  23. Use the lifeless command: ""Awaken to my Breath, serve my needs, live at my Command and my word" Since apparently people don't like the idea of Awakening a sword with the Immortal Words *grumbles*
