  1. No, no, she won't be killing Len. Len's the one who gave her Cuddles. He's safe. Mostly. Probably. Ish.
  2. Doesn't mean I can't kill you the same way in revenge. Just because it was amusing doesn't mean you're off the hook for that.
  3. That was a QF. QF11, specifically. And that was me. Thanks for reminding me! I was thinking about that death the other day, and I couldn't remember who I'd killed with that.
  4. 24 more hours to join the chaos.
  5. LG25: Aftermath - A Soul's Last Breath Two men stood in the town square, facing each other. Cog and Yulis glared at each other across the crowd of people between them. “That man has been stealing our Breath and killing our friends,” Yulis declared angrily. “So many of us have died, now. And Cog is responsible for them all.” “I’m responsible for those deaths? No, Yulis. I haven’t killed a single one of us, or stolen a single Breath. I’ll swear that on whomever you wish. I’d even swear it on your Austre if you’d like.” Cog smiled and gestured around him, but Yulis cut him off. “My Austre? I wouldn’t worship that blasphemous backwards god in a thousand years! Go on, Cog. Kill me, so that everyone can see you for the Returned you are. Or better yet, have Kelek do the dirty work for you. No need to get your hands dirty on a lowlife like me.” Yulis’ voice grew until he was nearly shouting. Cog’s voice was deadly quiet in return. “You’re mad. Which of the dead was close to you? Who drove you insane with grief? Shivawn, perhaps?” “I’m not mad! I’m perfectly in my right mind, and you are a murderer.” Yulis looked at the faces around him, breathing more heavily. “I’m not mad!” Cog raised an eyebrow. “Aren’t you? Well. I suppose it doesn’t really matter. I grow tired of this.” He raised his arms in a gesture unfamiliar to the Hallandren. The Idrians, however, recognized it as prayer. “Praise Austre.” In response, four voices spoke in unison. “Hold.” And five Hallandren villagers found that they simply couldn’t move. Their clothing wouldn’t let them. And those who could still move? They changed, all of them. Kelek, Lularah, Burganaa, Dimsari, and finally Cog. “Cog,” Yulis managed to squeeze out through the strangling grip of his collar. “Metacognition the Thoughtful, more precisely,” Cog corrected him, stalking forward with a smile. “You blasphemed Austre. For that, you shall die by my hand.” Yulis struggled, but to no avail. Cog sliced his throat open with one efficient motion, watching grimly as the man’s lifeblood poured out, staining the grass of the square with red. He tossed a small stone to Lularah. “Collect the Breath of the rest of them. We’ve done all we can here. We’ll need to find a new place, soon.” Lularah nodded. “And after that?” Cog hesitated, then smiled. “Leave them for the rabbits.” Two cute little rabbits hopped out of Dimsari’s hood and Burganaa’s sleeve, sniffing the air. The two Returned nodded, grinning. Hours later, the sun set on the village outside T’Telir. The night was quiet, and all that remained were five cooling bodies scattered in the village square, and the scent of death. Magestar was lynched! 8. LG25: Night Five - Final Flight Alex had always been odd. Perhaps that was why they’d come for him, he reflected to himself, as he sat atop the now-deserted inn. They’d ransacked it after Frank died, searching for any hint of Idrian Returned. Or, at least, so they’d said. Alex suspected some of them had spent more time with the now-unprotected wine cellars than actually searching, but that was none of his business. No. His business was with the birds. He fed the last bit of bread he’d taken from the inn’s kitchen to a particularly nosy sparrow, then stroked its feathers gently. It was still young, so it shied away, and he let it. It’d already eaten from his hand today. That was progress enough for now. He heard the door open behind him, and sighed, standing. He’d been hoping to have a little more time to say goodbye to the birds, but they’d gotten upstairs sooner than he’d expected. He gently shooed off all the birds. No need for them to get hurt with him. As they fluttered away, he said without looking behind him, “What excuse has been provided this time? I’m secretly supporting Idris by buying bread, perhaps?” “The birds. They’d be a perfect way to send messages to Idris.” Alex sighed. “And I have no ties, no one to defend me. Well, then. How shall it be?” He looked out across the village and the fields beyond, watching the last little bird disappear into the distance. “Die, Idrian scum,” someone said, and he felt a hand at his back. And so, he took the flight he’d always dreamed of. And it was short, but Colors, it was glorious. The Only Alex was lynched! He was a Hallandren Villager! Night 5 has begun. You have 24 hours to send in your actions. Vote Count: >Alex (4): Luckat, Sheep, Doctor, Bard >Sheep (1): Alex Player List
  9. I'm guessing Alv counts first non-retracted vote. So if you want to vote on Nyali and then me (or the other way around >>), I don't see why you couldn't. He just won't count the second one. Maill used to do that a lot.
  10. What? It's true. That's why Wilson was annoyed at you, anyway. Because you said you were being neutral, when you were working with the eliminator team quite a lot. You helped them a lot more than you ever helped the village. That's not being neutral. And Wilson thought you were really truly being neutral, so she was very irritated to find out otherwise. (I was far less convinced, but I kinda died before I had time to say anything about it. )
  11. Agreed with Stink. Not because Con's my teammate, but because I think we literally can't lynch him right now. Best case scenario, five votes for Con, three votes for Nyali (or whoever), and Con shifts a vote to Nyali making it a tie and no one dies. That's not very useful. And the problem with Nyali was more that she was a vote than anything else. (And she got Doctor killed, not Bard. Which, to be fair, was not her or even Joe's fault.) Until we got Con back, we literally couldn't win the lynches because of Con and Nyali. It only did more harm to Sel because it was one more thing that Sel could boast about and get everyone else even more desperate. ...Maybe kind of referencing Stink in LG24? Because he said he was being neutral in that game, and he wasn't at all. But she wouldn't have wanted to kill you in revenge for him. It's more that he did something he shoudln't have been allowed to get away with, and you're doing the same thing, so you shouldn't be allowed to get away with it either. EDIT: Lopen, I'm guessing that Joe had the Syphon and saved it for last cycle instead of using it the cycle before because he (correctly) thought Wilson would be protected that cycle. Only thing I can think of, anyway.
  12. ...What? That is definitely not why Wilson wanted to lynch you. There wasn't even a Paranoid Arms Dealer in MR5! The only indepent in the entire game was Hoid, and as far as I can recall Wilson wasn't irritated all that much (if at all) with Ren. She didn't want to kill you for revenge on someone else. That's ridiculous. She wanted to lynch you because you were not acting Independent, for all that you professed to be. And the combination of that and Con's defection rather unbalanced the game enough that it took three factions working together for three cycles to get everything back on track. There's a reason people weren't happy with you. Lynching you doesn't get anyone closer to winning the game, no, but it's important for the meta-game. If you don't act neutral when you are, there should be consequences for that. So I still think lynching you is more important.
  13. Impatient Brits. >> We were asleep, Stink. Except for Stick, possibly. Who is quiet. But no. There was no scheming. There was no one around to scheme. I agree about lynching Nyali. One, I agreed to lynch her for Wilson if she died. Two, that is the last point of the alliance - all of Sel and Nyali must be dead. We can start killing each other in secret if we'd like, but can we at least keep the alliance functioning on the surface for one more cycle? And three, I'm a little annoyed at her too for not acting independent. Do you still want that list, or did you find it? Basically: Scadrial - Lopen, Stick Nalthis - Len, El Roshar - Stink, Ecth, Con Independent - Nyali And while yes, I am still trying to win, I don't think I can. My faction has a double-life and a bodyguard (and no, Ecth, I am not the Nalthis Jack; I wish) and no items. Every other faction has at least one, and Roshar has a kill. Roshar's in a far better position than us right now, given three members and Cuddles. Unless Lopen or Stick got something useful in the Lottery (if Wilson comes back, for instance), Roshar's pretty well set to win. I was able to arrange all of last cycle with a lot of work and the alliance to build off of, because I had to rely on others for all my kills. Can't do that anymore. So I'm a little screwed.
  14. LG25: Day Five - Rabbits Galore Two rabbits hopped through the village that night. One was an innocent-looking tiny white bunny, hopping along the road. It turned up a garden path, jumping from stone to stone like the grass between was untouchable. It made its way to the house, up the front porch steps, flinching a little at the shadow of a hanging pot. Then it jumped up to a chair seat, then a table, then a window sill. The window was cracked slightly open, so it just pushed it open further and hopped to the floor. The bunny made its way through the house, weaving around chair legs and scattered books, to where Varg was sleeping. It sniffed the air cautiously, hopping a little closer to the bed. Then in a single motion, the Rabbit of Caerbannog ripped out Varg’s throat, letting his lifeblood flow out everywhere. A few minutes later, a little rabbit was hopping back out along the garden path, still spotless white. Little Bunny Foo Foo, Hopping through the village Picking up Lorien And bopping him on the head! Conquestor died! He was a Hallandren Villager with Awakened Rope! Dalinar has died! He was a Hallandren Villager with 2 pieces of Awakened Clothing! Breath was stolen! Day 5 has begun. You have 48 hours to decide who to lynch. Quicklinks Player List PMs will take a few minutes to send out, sorry.
  15. Just wanted to say that I'll be gone for most of this cycle, although I'll probably be able to make it on again before turnover. Not that I'm talking much anyway... Daniyah.
