  1. Yep, that was Khriss. I love how she completely confused Wax.
  2. Yes, Urithiru's decline is related to the Sibling Though the questioner sadly left Brandon a lot of wiggle room there, so it might not mean much lol
  3. Wax also uses the blue lines to make sure people aren't sneaking up on him. He also sees the line of a bullet while he's rolling, and tracks a blue line through wood. So from all of these (and there are lots more in the books), it's pretty clear that you can see lines behind you and out of your line of site.
  4. It would be really hard. Investiture resists investiture, and given that both stormlight and Breath are pure investiture, it'd be almost as hard as trying to soulcast atium into lerasium, and we know that's not possible.
  5. I think Dalinar would notice if he had a spike of metal embedded in his body And we get lots of PoVs from him, and there's no mention of it. Also, Hemalurgy would tend to drive most spren away from the person, so I don't think the SF would have been attracted to him if he were spiked. @Leyrann Interesting theory. How do you reconcile it with Brandon saying there are three Shards on Roshar, though, with Odium being the third Shard?
  6. Oh, yeah, that'll do it
  7. Tanavast held Honor, not Autonomy...

    Compounding

    Yep, that's it.
  9. The Shattering itself happened on Yolen. And we don't know enough of the culture there to know what they'd consider "gods." I'll bet some of the dragons were considered gods and some of them likely died during or due to the aftermath of the Shattering, or with the advent of fain life and whoever knows what else.
  10. I think that if it can be made from metal, a spren can turn into it. A whip might need too much flexibility, but a mace should work. I'm not sure about a bowstring, though that doesn't seem very useful. The metal is technically a god metal, so I don't think an Allomancer could burn it unless their spiritweb was Connected and coded in the right way. Hemalurgic spikes would be really really hard, because investiture resists investiture, and the metal is already heavily invested with a different type of power than Hemalurgy.
  11. I believe the first one(s) to be killed were Devotion and Dominion. Odium wanted to go after Ambition first, but couldn't find her, so he went after D&D. We don't know if other Shards have been killed by others, other than Mistborn
  12. Here's his description of it for Oathbringer. Some mild spoilers.
  13. The Stormfather is the one who told Dalinar that the Fused don't go back to Braise when they die, so yeah, Dalinar should know or realize that killing the Heralds would accomplish nothing. They'll be fine.
  14. The Shattering occurred on Yolen, and all the original Shardholders plus Hoid, are from Yolen too

    Time Travel

There's time travel into the future/time dialation, and that's how some worldhoppers have lived so long. There are also a lot of ways to actually manage immortality in the Cosmere. For Chrological, publication order works. All his books were published in order of chronology until Mistborn Era 2 and White Sand. There's a reading order chart floating around here somewhere too. This is what the Coppermind lists (Beware of following the links, there are spoilers!)
  16. When the Vessel is killed, there is a chance that the power will Splinter if it's not taken up. Brandon's said that it depends on a number of factors and any particular outcome (if it's not picked up) isn't guaranteed. I'm sure Splintering requires more than that.
  17. Do you perhaps mean Scadrial and Nalthis? Roshar has surgebinding. Nalthis has Breath. Brandon implies it is possible to store different senses here. I'm not sure if it would be able to store life sense from Breath, since it's technically not the same type of investiture. It's probably possible, but would need some "hacking" to do.
  18. I just don't think Kelsier has been directly on Roshar. He's intrinsically incapable of keeping a low profile. If he'd been on Roshar, he would have done something, and definitely made a splash. And once he gets his fingers in a pie, he doesn't leave until he's eaten it. Brandon's RAFOs can mean anything from "this is a significant secret that I can't reveal yet" to "I want to keep you guessing" to "TROLL ALERT". I wouldn't put too much into it.
  19. I really don't think any organization that Kelsier founded would evolve into non-intervention.
  20. It's certainly up to you. Some people like to imagine their "real" ages and some like to imagine their in-world ages.
  21. Sorry, I don't think so. If all Truthwatchers could see the future, then I'm sure that secret would have gotten out and been well known among the Radiants. In addition, the one TW we have a gemstone archive about, he couldn't tell the others that he could see the future, which implies that it's quite a secret.
  22. You're thinking in Rosharan years. If translated to Earth years. A Rosharan year is 1.1 of our years. So according to this post: The Weeping has passed, by OB, so it's 1174, now. Jasnah is pretty close to 40, and Dalinar is pretty close to 60.
  23. - Whoever keeps creating illusions of charging chasmfiends in the men's lavatory: Your assistance is appreciated but excessive. Thank you.
  24. They do cut through clothing, even when worn by a living person.
