  1. Most of them were killed after the Recreance, according to the excerpt of the in-world Words of Radiance.
  2. You're right, the Bands did have A-steel, didn't they? Then why don't we see any regular medallions with Allomancy? Very strange.
  3. Well the person would have to be a Misting, since we haven't seen any Allomantic medallions. But potentially, Compounding could become much more common, yes.
  4. An extremely skilled Soulcaster could probably do some of the things you describe, but honestly, most of those wouldn't be healthy for the individual in question. I mean, look at all the problems that come from an organ transplant. That's basically what you're proposing here. Without insane knowledge about how living things work, and that specific person in particular, you're likely to cause agonizing pain, and eventual death or at least major health issues.
  5. As @Oltux72 said, aluminum is actually highly reactive. What happens is that it forms a molecules thin oxide layer almost immediately on contact with air, that keeps it from contact with almost anything else, so it seems nonreactive. Here's what happens when you have a little fun with aluminum.
  6. We don't have any of those answers, other than Nazh is from Threnody and is basically her research assistant/errand boy.
  7. No idea. Not enough information to speculate, really. Just that it isn't lesser spren.
  8. But neither of those came even as close as geometric shapes. I think that the lesser spren are associated with the order, in that they tend to be drawn to the things that Order does, but that they don't form Shardplate.
  9. I think that Cultivation got involved, and any time Cultivation takes a direct hand, the situation is much more complicated than a simple boon and curse.
  10. Feruchemy's been around for at least a thousand years before Trell started interfering on Scadrial. If my theory about it being a power granted by a previous Ascension, then at least two thousand years before then. It's very very unlikely that Feruchemy is from anything other than Preservation/Ruin.
  11. Can you Ctrl-F through the books to find the ones you're not sure on?
  12. Cosmere. Yes when referring to the book series, no when referring to the universe. Think of it like the word "cosmos." When you say "The cosmos are big and complicated" it's not capitalized. When you're referring to a speciic book called "The Cosmos" then it is. Adonalsium. Yes, it's a proper noun. Shard (and the shard names). Yes. Also proper nouns. Allomancy. Yes. Feruchemy. Yes. Twinborn. Yes. Allomantic or feruchemical metal names. No. Stormlight. Yes. "Perpendicularity". Yes when referring to a specific one, like Cultivation's Perpendicularity. No when referring to perpendicularities in general.
  13. Brandon also wanted a metal that was pretty rare in pre-industrial societies, but then became common and cheap in the future. Aluminum has been associated with a number of myths and was very rare, valuable and prized, a couple of centuries ago.
  14. The gemstone was an Aether, is my point. No one was actually trapped in it. Have you read Aether of Night?
  15. I have that part and I think you're misreading it. That part was basically the beginnings of Aethers and maybe spren.

You could add skin textures, hair, clothing, and stuff like that. And I think they've developed some good collision detection now. Anyway, really nice work. Just darken the skin and fix the eyes Oh, maybe make the brands less neat. He was struggling when they were applied, and they were infected a few times, so they should be pretty ridged and rough and scuffed.

Sorry, I used to work for a company that did realistic human figures and I see them everywhere Michael 5 from DAZ3D is what I was referring to. Yours actually looks more like the Genesis male, though. https://www.daz3d.com/landis-hair-for-genesis-8-and-genesis-3-males

Pretty nice. Kaladin needs to have darker skin and an epicanthic fold, though. What program are you using? Looks a bit like one of the Michaels.
  19. ...You quoted the link. lol
  20. Pretty sure he's trying to bring someone back from the Beyond, but I don't have much to base it on. The source is the non-canon The Traveler excerpt. https://wob.coppermind.net/events/332/#e9518
  21. All the singers have gemhearts. This is confirmed by Venli in Oathbringer. She describes it as small, cloudy white, almost the color of bone.
  22. I've been thinking that the Shattered Plains are a result of Lightweavers and Releasers or Stonewards working together.
  23. I think that Dalinar did Ascend and is now a Sliver, but that the amount of Honor that he held at the time was much smaller than even the amount at the Well of Ascension. So he gained some knowledge (like sensing the Orders of the people around him?) but not much beyond a greater insight into the Rosharan systems.
  24. Copper only blocks emotional Allomancy being used on the Smoker themself, and not anyone around them. So aluminum gives anyone the ability to block emotional Allomancy on the hat wearer. However, as @Pathfinder mentioned, that wouldn't hide the wearer if the wearer was using Allomancy and wanted to avoid being detected. Basically, copper has its uses, aluminum has its uses. The two have some overlap, but each has its pros and cons.
  25. This is pretty much exactly what I think. Thanks Cal! But still not interested in joining the hivemind!
